TRUE BEAUTY OF SKYRIM
True beauty of Skyrim is an evolving project with the overall end goal to make Skyrim photorealistic.

THANK YOU FOR EARNING US A SPOT ON THE HOT FILES!

Photorealism is a commonly thrown around term, so let make clear what our definition is. Photorealism is evolving a game's lighting and post processing to a point where it is nearly indistinguishable from an image taken with a digital device or could be easily mistaken for one.

This project will evolve and adapt over time as new binaries for ENB are released, doing whatever is necessary to achieve the closest replication of digital photography possible.

Without mods, the desired look will be simply very hard to acquire. Here are some of the necessary mods that are needed for TBoS to look the way it does in the screenshots.
(BTW please add your own screenshot so we can get a better idea of what it looks like on different configs ;)

This mod comes with better vsync that will eliminate stuttering and give you better performance than the original vsync that comes with the game.
Locate iVSyncPresentInterval=1 in your skyrimprefs.ini file usually located under documents/my games/Skyrim Special Edition and change it to iVSyncPresentInterval=0 if it isn't already.

  1. To install True Beauty of Syrim you'll need to head over to ENBDev and download the latest binaries (should be v0.330)
  2. Unpackage the binaries using a program such as Winrar or 7-Zip and place only the d3d11.dll and d3dcompiler_46e from the "wrapper version" into your Skyrim directory.
  3. Download the latest version of True Beauty of Skyrim then copy and paste all the contents into the Skyrim directory (same folder you put the previous files in)

(Advanced users only) While in-game press delete to open the ENB menu to toggle or tweak certain effect to your liking.
To turn on/off DoF, tick the option under EFFECTS that reads Depth of Field
To toggle the effect, tick the option under GLOBAL that reads UseEffect
To uninstall use a program such as ENB and ReShade Manager to remove all traces of ENB.

Please feel free to post any criticism under the discussion tab ;)
