Darassa was born in the deep swamps of Black Marsh, in a small Argonian village called Tzel-Xan. Raised by a family of healers, Dassa learned the secrets of herbs and the power of spiritual connection to the waters and the earth at an early age. However, when she was still very young, a plague swept through her home, bringing disease and death, taking her entire family. This forced her to flee and make a life for herself. Alone in the world, Darassa became a wanderer, traveling from town to town in search of answers and perhaps a home. Was it a curse? A punishment from the Hist for something her village had done? Or simply the cruel cycle of life? Her pilgrimage has led her to the Temple of Kynareth in Whiterun, where she prays silently, hoping the goddess of wind and nature will grant her a sign.
Many see her as just another stranger in town, but those who speak to her notice a melancholy look in her eyes and a voice that carries the pain and wisdom of those who have lost everything and live in search of new meaning or reason to carry on. It is said that when her prayers are answered, Darassa will set out again, following the call of destiny.
Until then, she remains there, kneeling before the altar of Kynareth, whispering her prayers to the Goddess of the Wind.
