What is this?
I've seen countless implemetations of backpacks but all of them didn't do it for me. Crafting backpack in forge? Not immersive. I wanted to make my own, that would seamlessly integrate into the world as if it was there the whole time, and turns out the perfect (in my opinion) solution was indeed always under my nose. I present to you a lightweight, vanilla plus backpack - an old knapsack.
Description
If you see one, as you do from time to time, you can now take it with you (but make sure to loot it beforehand if you want).
After you took knapsack and it's in your inventory, you're not going to see "take knapsack" prompt on other knapsacks until you drop it. This way the mod won't be intrusive to you every time you see a knapsack. If you want to give knapsack to your follower, just give them yours and then grab a new one for yourself.
You can choose one of several carry buffs (25, 40, 60, 80 points) in the installer.
The mesh adjusts to your worn armor or clothing dynamically using vanilla system.
The mod has no requirements.
