Changelogs
Version 2.1
Adjusted rain attenuation levels one last time, to a level I think is just right. Also adjusted wind sound volume so slightly you won't notice. (But I will.)
Version 2.0
-Adjusted volume and attenuation levels on rain sounds. (They were too quiet before.)
-Added thunder sounds.
-Added blizzard sound effects, rebranded the mod into being for interior weather sounds rather than just rain sounds.
Version 1.0
Initial release.
Skyrim was originally intended to have interior rain and snowstorm sounds. The audio exists in the game files, and unfinished sound markers and descriptors had started to be set up, but nothing ever came of it. I was flabbergasted that there were absolutely ZERO standalone interior weather sound mods for Skyrim. None, at all. Every single mod that restored the feature had it bundled with a thousand other things, so I made my own.
This mod restores the unfinished interior rain and blizzard sounds and adds thunder sounds, that's it. No extra features or frills, just straight to the point.
ESL flagged, clean of ITMs or deleted records, all that jazz. The ESP is super small and only includes a handful of records, this is really quite a simple mod.
Probably not compatible with most of the big weather mods or audio overhauls since they tend to do this. I don't know, I don't use them, that's why I made this. It is compatible with my mod Classic Weathers Redone.
That's all, enjoy.
Useless fact: if you were to restore the interior rain sounds as they were without reimplementation, there was a single location in the game where they could be heard; Lod's house in Falkreath. The blizzard sound effects only play in the Abandoned Shack in vanilla and will play regardless of weather condition.
