About this mod
Makes the named NPC werewolves of Skyrim have a unique model and texture. With Elegant, Vanilla-like, and Apex options available.

Hello all! I have a new mod for you, a WEREWOLF one, big shocker haha. This is one I've been wanting to make for years, and finally, I've learned enough about the CK to make it so.
So what does this mod do? Well, it gives unique werewolf form models to named NPC werewolves in the game. It helps them stand out as their own individuals, and also helps you not be clones either!
Yes, i know DWC does this, but it's a mod that admittedly isn't very friendly towards werewolf replacers that isn't vanilla-like, and you have to like their style and yada yada, I wanted a smaller mod that only affects NPCs, so that the player can be whatever they want.
With how my mod is made, more versions are easily added by simply replacing the included meshes and textures with something else. Just make sure your mesh paths in nifskope lead to the correct textures!
This was originally meant as a patch/addon for my Elegant Werewolf replacer, but I decided to expand it for other tastes, and thus there are currently 3 versions of the mod.
For now, it covers the following NPCs:
Farkas
Aela
Sinding
POTENTIALLY Arnbjorn. I have not tested if he appears properly in-game, but his model is in the files. One day I will test, or if someone else would like to, I'd love to hear the result.
And now lemme go over the different versions found in the files.
Vanilla-like: Purely standalone, no requirements, and comes with all the needed files. This one is good for a vanilla-ish feel, using Bellyache body textures, and CinnaMewRoll's eye textures. All models have glowing eyes and a cleaner mouth texture than vanilla. The textures are 4K, since there's only a few.
Farkas uses LilyValley's Van Helsing with a tail model.
Aela uses Asjure's model with Madcat's female body.
Sinding uses a modified version of glamrockcat's wolf-like mesh.
Arnbjorn uses LilyValley's Warg model.
Apex: This one is an extension of the Apex Werewolf mod, a replacer I learned is quite popular, and thus I decided it was worth it to make this option, despite me personally not being a fan of that mod.
For this version, you must have the original mod for it to work! Fluffy Apex Werewolf Replacer
Aela uses the more fluffy model, while the others use the less fluffy model, and textures are 2K. But you can download and use any version of the OG mod that you'd like.
Elegant: This one was the first go around I did, using my Elegant Werewolf replacer for their skins. The textures are 2K for this one, like Apex, as the goal was to make all three have a similar performance impact (hopefully very little) and I didn't see the need for a 4K since we only see these NPCs once per playthrough.
The base mod is required: Elegant Werewolf Replacer
Aela uses the female model of course.
Farkas uses the default model
Sinding uses the soft model
Arnbjorn uses the terror model.
Compatibility Notes: I had to edit scripts, quests, and make new werewolf races for these NPCs. So mods that modify The Companions questline and Sinding's questline will probably conflict. You're welcome to make patches, I probably won't as that's kinda beyond my scope for the mod. But I keep the perms very open for people to build on this.
For this to work, you MUST start a new game, or the models won't appear.
I wish this wasn't the case, but trust me, testing was miserable due to this and the way this stuff bakes into your save at the start.
I admit I probably won't be able to help much with any possible bugs and conflicts. I tested it, it works on a lightly modded game, but I can't promise anything more, and I have a life outside of modding sadly. I wish you all the best of luck with it.
