SKSE Version of Gift Horses Mod that adds additional functionality and improved horse following package. Also adds a How To Journal to carry and read if you want fine details of specific functions. If you don't use skse, you won't get the names feature but you will get the How To journal and the upgraded horse following package.

HISTORY
This is the skse version of Gift Horses - Mounted to the Max. It is an evolution of the mod that started with Any Horse for Any Follower. That mod had slots for 8 horses and 8 followers. This mod has slots for 50 each.
FUNCTIONALITY - (see the journal pics above - See the Gift Horses Mounted to the Max page for other media.)
The mod functions the same way as Gift Horses but adds the ability to see the names of the horses and followers that you use the spells on such as " Dark Bay now belongs to Lydia" instead of " This horse now belongs to this follower". I tweaked the horse follower package by adding conditions that keep the horses from following when the Horses Stay Put spell is used. This spell is called Set Horse Home spell in the latest 2.1 version of the non skse mod. The following near and far distances were changed so horses do not crowd you or fail to follow if you wander away from them. I added a Gift Horses How To journal that has 14 pages of detailed instructions on the mod operation and use, for those who like that sort of interaction. You are given the journal in your books inventory when you install the mod whether you are starting a new game or mid play through. You can replace a previous version of the mod with this mod and pick up where you left off in your game without losing anything. The same horses will still belong to the same followers. You will just have the improvements added by this mod. 
SSE AND VR VERSIONS
I had to make 2 different versions of the mod due to the newer esp versioning in the CK. The AE / SSE version is 1.71 in the header and the VR version is 1.70 in the header. This is the ONLY difference between the AE / SSE and the VR versions of this mod. If you are having trouble with getting other newer mods to work in VR,  you can try to use SSEedit to change the header version to 1.70. Interestingly though, the VR version of this mod works fine in AE / SSE, but the AE / SSE version will not work in VR. So I did not want AE / SSE users to be put off by the VR in the file name, so I just made 2 versions to keep it simple. Thanks for reading this whole thing.
