Absolutely required, the game will probably crash without it.

I am not the author of MCM Recorder. This is a 2-line Papyrus patch that changes almost nothing. If you are redistributing this mod (i.e. in a modlist), all permissions go to the author of MCM Recorder, mrowrpurr:
This mod includes the original LICENSE file from MCM Recorder to comply with the license.

If you're playing with a modlist that includes MCM recordings, and you keep starting a new game over and over to test things, then you'll probably know these popups get VERY old very quickly.
MCM Recorder actually has code that allows the user to hide these, but the code never reads from a .json file, so the user can never configure this. I'm not sure if mrowrpurr is still around, but I've submitted a PR to get this fix applied to the original mod, so it will load `mcmRecorder.json` as originally intended:
https://github.com/mrowrpurr/McmRecorder/pull/5
With this code fix, setting "config.messageboxes" to "false" in `mcmRecorder.json` will suppress any message boxes from MCM Recorder.
This mod incorporates all of the above.
Included in this mod archive is a `mcmRecorder.json` that configures MCM Recorder to hide its message boxes, and a patched .pex that actually loads that file.
The included configuration doesn't suppress the notifications in the top-left, but you can edit the .json if you want to hide those too.
Download this mod via your mod manager, and load it AFTER MCM Recorder. I.e in Mod Organizer 2 or Vortex, load it like this:
