Hey Guys! Thanks to RumblestrutCovey we now have a "No Homes" version of the mod for all users who have custom player homes to avoid incompatibilities. Check the optional downloads section to get the files.
Realise that when you are choosing the version - that pretty much every patch (all of the JK's Interiors, Immersive Fort Dawnguard etc) all use the "Skyrim Project Optimization - Full Version.esm" as master - so unless you want a lot of work in SSEEdit doing a lot of work, use that version
Q. Objects appear/disappear when I come close to them. A. It's usually due to room bounds or occlusion planes present in the cell. They could be residual persistent records in that case try it on a fresh save, or they may come from some other mods that are placing them for the Vanilla layout, therefore being incompatible, such as mods like "Project Optimization."
I get [00:15] Background Loader: Fatal: <EAssertionFailed: Assertion failure (P:\Projects\xEdit-4.0.x\wbImplementation.pas, line 10388)>in xedit when loading the lite master, but regular master works fine. Not sure if others have this problem and I don't really care but just a heads up.
Works wonders inside my houses BUT now all my shield plaques are broken ;; and shields that were placed on them, fell on the floor xD cant put them back as the interaction is fully gone. This is both shield only plaques and shield+left/right weapon. How can i fix this without removing the mod? Also started a fresh new save and this still is the case.
it's not working with this https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/10463 Results: Room-parts / Walls missing ... ends with purple / blue background
Yeah any homes that modify vanilla interiors may conflict with this mod. You should let those mods overwrite this one since they only affect one or a few buildings.
To have such major problems you've conflicts or doing something wrong, or glitched download or mod manager issue. I've got this in a light mod load (a dozen mods - Golldir's house, a few armour, guns, map, mist, font/ui stuff) and not had any bad in 50 game hours.
Vortex showed no conflicts, no errors, installed just fine, so not a glitched download, also Vortex itself works without any issues. Got all the JK patches for interior overhauls that I use. Though I have ~700 mods, but everything works fine. Yet with 'Skyrim Project Optimization' it becomes unplayable on medium settings while I can manage on ultra without it.
Well, you can't always trust Vortex/Loot. But at a guess you probably have a conflict with something in among those ~700 mods (or your game is collapsing under the sheer weight of them). I'd never run half that number of mods but I wish you luck finding the issue.
Yeah . . . something's just not playing along with this mod, but there are so many possibilities and I'm not bothered by my interior performance that much, so I'll just play without it.
It's simply not possible for this mod to introduce lag. All it does is add occlusion culling planes. At the very worst, it'll keep performance the same. I'm 100% sure there's something else causing the performance drop.
Then that something else must have been causing it in conjunction with your mod, cause removing your mod fixed it. I'm following instructions, installing a load of patches and fixes for all these hundreds of mods that I use, but surely could have missed some important detail somewhere just cause there are so much details to pay attention too. Now I'm in the middle of applying stuff from this guide Free FPS at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com). When I'm finished with it, I'll try your mod again and see what happens.
Do you by any chance also use MO2? It's a really powerful mod manager that makes trying different mod loadouts really easy and can help narrow down performance issues.
What if I marked ESM version how ESL? I'm talking not about 2nd version, which already have ESL format. I mean - if I ESLfied the ESM version. It's broke my game?
Some dependent plugins require the name Skyrim Project Optimization - Full Version.esm instead Skyrim Project Optimization - Full ESL Version.esm. In this regard, I wanted to make a ESL flag of Skyrim Project Optimization - Full Version.esm version. Will this break my game if I do it?

If you use JK's Interiors, they have patches to play nice with this
I think this should be stickied because that's quite a popular mod.
