About this mod

Harmonized Race Heights's main goal is to have a greater height diversity between races while trying to stay in line with lore and previous TES games.

Introduction

Harmonized Race Heights changes the stature of every Skyrim race with these points in mind:

  • Skyrim vanilla height values.
  • Canon and previous TES games height values and proportions.
  • Generally having female height value lower than male of the same race, with the exception with certain races where the opposite happens.
  • The base rule from which the proportions between f and m come from is to have the nord female to be the same height of nord male when f wears your average high heels or boots mod while m doesn't.

So, this mod is intended for those who want a more varied height diversity between races and/or for those who uses high heels/boots mods and always having females with high heels or boots being taller than males without in every race feels off for them.

Notes

  • If you have problems, critics or advice about the mod let me know, this is still a work in progress and I also plan making multiple variants of the mod.
  • I am pretty sure I've taken care of every race an actor can be including the elder race and 'mutated' races (ex: vampires), if I missed something let me know.
  • Relevant USSEP changes are forwarded and it's not a requirement.
  • The mod and the patches are esl flagged.
  • If you need a mod patched and you don't know how to do it, feel free to ask.
  • It's known that (at least in vanilla) movement speed scales with height: the taller the faster.
