If you have trouble finding the Ice Blade this analysis of the map with more concrete markings might help figure out it's location:

This mod is amazing, I love the 1h sword, however I can't use it offhand with another blade, it doesn't appear with dual sheath. Are there patches available for this? Or is there a way to make this sword appear on the left hand?
Keep up the good work :)

I often include meshes for dual sheath redux in Oldrim, but in SSE since there is no "official" ported release then I don't think it's as important. That said, one could always use the meshes for dual sheath redux that are included in the oldrim download, they might work directly in SSE or just require running them through NifOptimizer.
If many people are using DSR in SSE then I suppose I could start including DSR meshes in my SSE releases as well.

Can't beat this Boss NPC at the end of the quest...
I'm level 32, with 95 skill points in Heavy Armor, 80 points in Two Hand...
260 in health and 260 in stamina...
Yet this guy is two shotting me to death before I can even get across the room to get a single hit on him.
I've tried potions to beef up my resistance to his attacks, beef up my armor and two hand skills... yet he still kills me before I can even hit him once, even before I have a chance to drink any health potions.
He hits me once and it immediately takes 2/3's of my health away so I hit Q to bring up my favorites and pop a health potion, hit ESC to close the window and then I'm dead from his second hit before the health potion even starts filling my health bar.

I was looking at the images and the 13th one shows the PC wearing Iron armor. It looks pretty good. What texture mod are you using?

I'm really liking this mod so far - but I'm having an issue with filling Krahvalok up with souls. They just don't go in. Does this mod react badly with GIST (Genuinely Intelligent Soul Trap) or any other overhaul mod like Ordinator? Thanks

Hi Frank! Great great mod, loving the quest and the blade. But i encountered a bug today, you might want to be aware of this. So i filled up the dagger with the souls. The frost monarch appeared. i expected him to be hostile on sight but no. Also he was following me, like a normal summon. So i want to fight him and since i'm a mage, the first thing i do before getting hostile towards him is summon a warrior by my side. Aaaand... puff! The monarch disappear, which is what happens when you already have a summoned creature up and you try to summon another. Was this supposed to happen or this is a bug? So anyway, the quest progresses and the quest journal says that i have succesfully defeated the monarch. "Great!", i think. But then, when i go to retrieve the sword, i take it and quest progresses again, and now the quest journal states that i managed to retrieve the sword WITHOUT actually defeating the Monarch. Which is... partly incorrect? I dunno

Dude. I keep seeing a different variant for this sword all around the internet. It is a glossy shiny metal and there is no curve at the base of the blade. Where can I find it? because on the old version of this post (for Skyrim) Aton of images showed a version that looked different from this.

Not ported to SSE (and no plans to do so), it's on the Oldrim page (old files, 1.3)

bro, thats such a shame. That thing is incredibly badass. What confused me is why they stuck with this version, which seems much granier and less metallic than the 1.3.
Oh well then. Any other sword mods that might match what Im looking for? because that 1.3 was the bomb.

Well, difference of opinion basically. I consider this version to be better in every way but, naturally, others will have different opinions and preferences. To the people that disagree, I haven't deleted 1.3 from the oldrim site so nothing stopping anyone from using that if you like it, its trivial to port it by yourself for your own personal usage.
As for shiny swords, plenty on the Nexus, you got some really well made ones by Billyro, you can check those out if you haven't already.

Yeah. This is the one I used before I got pc. Best of the best on console. I just liked the more traditional sword look on the 1.3. You say it’s easy to port, but I don’t have the slightest clue as how to port anything lmao. This is my first time in the modding community and it took me 30 minutes to figure out how to install SKSE64 and SKYUI.

I did a thread search but didn't see anything initially. Is there a way to swap between the one-handed and two-handed version after picking it up? I was initially rolling with one-handed, but would like to swap to the two-handed if possible. Thanks!

Hello I have run into an issue where I received the quest from the camp and died, however upon returning to the camp from a save before I had gotten to the camp I did not get the quest this time, nothing had changed besides the fact I died, I have read a few people weren't getting the quest to fire when they got to the camp but I saw no reason. thank you.
