I want to keep this text up for people that has the mod- Maple Manor SSE - Player house with Legacy Support. If you install with this mod it causes crashes in a room or two because of how it makes its textures i think. It changes some of the flower pots and plants so it causes crashing i think. Walking around the place seems ok just when you go inside to one of the guest rooms it crashes. Its on the top floor in the main area where the dining and the fire place is. It is also next to the master bedroom upstairs. Again just to let people know. So if you are crashing this may help you.
Do I install both 1.0 and 1.2 versions with the 1.2 version loading after? Or just the 1.2 version? I skimmed through the comments and it sounds like 1.2 was causing problems.
Not sure if anyone else has bothered to notice or comment, but when the texture file for thistle is allowed to load, it no longer changes when picking the flower. Had to winnow through 600+ mods, but verified on a test profile with minimal mods as well... (Unofficial patch primarily) Remove that specific file, and it reverts to vanilla look, but picks correctly. Overwrite that file with one from another mod, again, it works. I don't know much about how the textures are used within the game, but it was quite noticeable when trying to put together the SSE Beautification Project.
Anyone also noticing this issue, I'd recommend https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/62408... the "No 2d bulbs retexture - Vanilla" optional file, or https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1546 for that specific file. I like the look of this mod, but do like the plants to look picked so that I don't try to go back and pick them again...
Agreed. Im using Tamrielic Grass https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/46217 2K textures but you can change ini Increase iMinGrassSize in TamrielicGrass.ini to something around 60 or 70 works a dream!
I had some trouble with ferns missing textures, and fern mesh and texture files remaining in the data folder after deinstallation, so that this problem persists even after you remove the mod. I later saw that this is a known issue with version 1.2. It took me a while, but I'm glad I know now. On another note, while I was looking through the plant models with NifSkope trying to figure this out, I realized how good these plants look, especially some that have always bothered me in vanilla. I do not know of any other replacers for the original plants, so it's great that they were saved. I wish Renthal was still making mods. Everything I found of him these past 2 years was unique and top notch.
This mod causes errors when LODs are generated with DynDOLOD 3. I had to switch to 3rd version, since some mods started migrating to it (for example Enhanced Vanilla Trees v2.2.0).
Just wanted to say thank you for your comment. Was getting crashes with DYNDOLOD and took me forever to figure out this mod was the issue. Uninstalled and all good.
I wonder if just hiding\overwriting the trees would fix the issue. The stuff that really matters is only visible up close. Failing that, activating this after LODGEN runs should work.

Edit : same for byohhouseingrddeathbell01.nif. It shouldn't be in the switchnodechildren folder.
