Thanks! Feel free to use this mod as a template to create your own version. Something like this is actually a great first mod to make! My only request is that if you do end up making something and upload it, just change the .esp so they're compatible with each other. If you want I don't mind creating a list of steps to follow to make your own.
I know very little about making mods. I plan on trying some things eventually but not enough time to sit down and actually learn yet. If you want to list the steps anyway, I'd appreciate it and I'll save it somewhere. Thanks.
Sure! 1. Get permission to use a song - I just commented on a YouTube video and asked the author 2. Download the song in .wav format (I used an online YouTube song downloader) 3. Use Yakitori audio converter to convert the files from wav to xwm and add the files into data/music/your-sub-folder 4. Copy and rename my mod, then open it in xedit. 5. Expand the plugin in xedit, and then expand the music track category - you should see the tracks from this mod 6. Click on one of the music tracks and change the file path to that of your song - notice that the file path is relative to the Skyrim data folder 7. Optionally change the name of the sound track - useful for debugging 8. If you want more tracks than just the 3 here, right click on one of the songs and click "copy as new record into" and select your plugin in the popup - this will make a new music track and you can update the info on it. 9. Copy and rename the _MUS.ini file (make sure _MUS stays in the file name) 10. Update the plugin name in the MUS in and add any new tracks you've created.
Vreily & forsooyh, may-haps we could have a small ensemble in yonder tavern to perform said feats of artistry, may-haps some dancing fillies would brighten up the abode. or.....I'll ave me some of that :))

Especially the "Or in modern English for the losers"...
However, if you add "better" Bardcore songs, I will reconsider using.
