IN CELEBRATION OF THE END OF THE YEAR OF THE DRAGON
I have made several sets of Imperial armor, with weapons to go with them.
Many were inspired particularly by Elder Scrolls: Online, but I intend on showing love for the land of Cyrodiil throughout the series and beyond.
All armors can be crafted, tempered, and recycled. The new materials for them can be bought from merchants.
The sets, information on them, and the requirements to make them, are as follows.
Imperial Plate
A seemingly bland concept, but one I felt was needed. It's just segmented plate armor with Imperial motifs. Swords, polearms, and a dagger are also included.
Guards for Imperial officers and nobles typically wear this.
Requirements:
Perk: Advanced Armor
Quests: Joining the Legion or Battle for Solitude
Noble Imperial
An upgrade to the prior-mentioned Imperial Plate.
Requirements:
Perk: Advanced Armor
Quests: Diplomatic Immunity, Joining the Legion or Battle for Solitude
Order Of The Hour
A heavy armor set made for the knightly order dedicated to Akatosh.
Requirements:
Perk: Advanced Armor
Quests: Joining the Legion, Message to Whiterun, or Battle for Solitude
House Hexos
A Light armor set completely unaffiliated with the Legion, fit for mercenaries serving a Cyrodiilic merchant clan that spread across many planes. The one place not corrupted by capitalism: Oblivion!
A free set can be found scattered throughout the Black Books.
Requirements:
Perk: Ebony Armor
Quests: At the Summit of Apocrypha
Legion Zero
A heavy armor set made for a traitorous Imperial Legion who swore allegiance to the Scheming Lord of Coldharbour.
A free set can be found scattered in locations associated with the Dawnguard Questline.
Requirements:
Perk: Ebony Armor
Quests: The House of Horrors and Battle for Solitude, or Battle for Windhelm
Imperial Potentate
A heavy armor set made to celebrate the Akaviri regent rule of Cyrodiil.
Requirements:
Perk: Advanced Armor
Quests: Alduin's Wall
Sancre Tor
A light armor set worn by the gravekeepers of the Reman Dynasty Cradle.
Requirements:
Perk: Advanced Armor
Quests: Alduin's Wall
Antique Imperial
A heavy armor set made to emulate the styles of the Second Era.
Requirements:
Perk: Advanced Armor
Quests: Alduin's Wall
Scavenger Legion
A light armor set made for rugged survivalist specialists of the Legion.
A member of this legion can be found somewhere in the Reach.
Requirements:
Perk: Steel Smithing
Quests: Compelling Tribute or Battle for Solitude
Also included are battlemage robes. I will speak on those later.
There are also 2 clothing items in this mod. Both are unobtainable through normal means.
Emperor's Tunic
A simple remodel of the vanilla emperor robes.
It can be found worn by Pelagius Septim III
Dragonborn Emperor's Robe
A faithful recreation of the robes worn by Uriel Septim VII
as of 1.0, it is unobtainable through gameplay. I made this as a modder's resource.
A NOTE ON BATTLEMAGES-
I hate this armor. I am not proud of it. I made it because I felt obligated to make it. This single piece of armor, the robe, was the cause of my months-long absence. I grew tired of having these meshes just sitting around, so I have finally decided to upload them, quality assurance be damned. I hate this armor. I hate it. It is poorly boned, poorly textured, and poorly implemented, all for a class that is seen in game exactly once, at the very beginning.
I encourage any would-be author to fix these issues.
If this battlemage armor is unsatisfactory to you, Might I suggest these other fine mods with higher quality textures and meshes.
