INSTRUCTIONS TO FOLLOW IF YOU UNINSTALL MID GAME AND FIND THAT YOUR HEALTH REGEN IS NOT WORKING
Open the console and type - "player.getav healrate" there should be return message saying that healrate is 0.01 - If so, then type into the console "player.modav healrate 0.69". This will return your Health regeneration to normal.
If, for some reason, your healrate is not at 0.01 then just adjust the value you enter so that it resets Healrate to Vanilla default value (0.7).
This applies to all Actor Values and will work for Stamina and Magicka as well. So the same rules apply if you have any trouble.
I noticed something when using this with FNIS PCEA2. I have 360 walk and run animations installed through that mod and when using them with this, my character walks tilted at an angle and as though she is constipated.
I fixed it by using the vanilla speed patch.
I am not sure what caused it but it drove me nuts for a while. Could be the particular animations I am using have non-standard speeds? I dunno, but perhaps this will help someone else. edit: also added the noMerge tag to the speed patch in Wrye Bash. Otherwise the borked anims return.
Thanks for the heads up. What’s PCEA2? I use FNIS and 360 walk and anima but I’ve never come across that so thanks. I’ll update the page. I personally don’t merge patches. Thanks though I’ll sticky this post and update the page.
I realise that I have not been active for some time. Unfortunately, due to work/family commitments and a certain pandemic, I have not had the time to work on patches etc. Please note that I am actively trying to find some time to start working on some stuff soon. Please bear with my and I apologise for any inconvenience.
Interesting issue I have run into with this mod (maybe interacting with another mod? I'm not sure).
After my save file has run for over 100 in game days, at 2:45AM on a specific day no matter how that time is reached, the entire stamina drain system completely breaks. No drain when running, sometimes it just starts draining all my stamina to zero while standing still. Sometimes I will run with no stamina drain but then stop and 15 seconds later it will drain that stamina, etc etc. Just all sorts of absolutely strange behaviour.
Only solution I could find was to disable the mod (and clean it out from my patches that used it as a useless master), reload the save and make a new save, then enable the mod again. Even now, if I load an old save the bug occurs at that specific day at 2:45AM onwards.
I read the scripts with the mod, I looked at every reference in SSEedit, I checked and reset all the relevant quests in the console, I investigated the quests, spell and magic effects and I still have absolutely no idea what would have caused it. Either way, I suppose this is something of a bug report for an exceptionally niche issue.
I love that running uses less stamina than sprinting. I'm not loving that jumping does nothing to stamina? Is this a glitch or is it designed this way?
Dammit, I should read descriptions more carefully. I use this with Realistic Swimming and Drowning, and I just couldn't understand why my stamina runs off in seconds even when my carry weight is below 10 (RSD feature, stamina drain while swimming depends on carry weight). And then I read this mod's description and I understand I didn't tweak the Wildcat and its 5stamina/second drain while swimming. Thanks for the mod and for the tip!!
Awesome mod! I hope you find some time to update the mod. I have no idea if its an incompatibility, but when I pair Cardio with True Directional Movement, stamina drain stops on any diagonal movement. I'll look into trying to fix it myself but if you are still around and could lead me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.
This seems to be remedied by installing True Directional Movement - Diagonal Sprinting Fix and loading it after Cardio SE. Stamina drain works diagonally in addition to the intended fix of overwriting "fJogInterpolationBetweenWalkAndRun".
My skyrim is a beautiful world and I sometimes just walk around admiring the lush vegetation and the wide landscape. I play slow and levels are unimportant. The UI is hidden beside a small white point in the middle of the screen, I only see bars if I loose stam/health, aka in combat. Maybe Im picky, but can you add the option to not affect visually any bars? If I use this mod and run around, there is a permanent stamina drain which forces the bar to show up permanently and its kinda immersive breaking for me to see a bar on my screen.
Regarding this, I personally use Gopher's Immersive Hud, which allows you to adjust transparency of the stamina/health/magic bars as you see fit if I'm not mistaken. Maybe you could try that?
I downloaded this cardio mod and have to say I HATE it lmao. I have -20 carry weight. So I turned all the options off or put them to the easiest and still at -20 carry weight. I even went as far as put everything in my inventory into my cart. So I'm stood naked, with no food/weapons or anything and now I'm down to -70 carry weight. The backpack (from campfire) gets me up to -20. So not sure what the issue is but I can't work with -20 that's ridiculous!
I presume it is a bad idea to use this mod if you have other mods - such as Weightmorphs and NPC's Run and Walk at Your Pace - that also modify run and walk speeds?
There is a vanilla walk/run speed option in the optional files so you get the effects without moding the speeds! I personal use this for Reasonable Movement Speed.

Default Values:-
Healrate = 0.7
Staminarate = 5
Magickarate = 3

It may be possible to remove the stamina bar completely but to be honest I would suggest just adjusting the opacity to suit in your settings.
