Description
Grimoire of Supreme Summoning (GSS) is a mod I threw together in an afternoon that adds a new passive ability called "Oblivion, Heed My Call".
With this passive ability:
  • While in combat, every 5 non-conjuration spells you cast will also summon a random Daedra to fight for you.
  • These Daedra only last 10 seconds, so they spawn in, get a hit or two (or take a hit or two), then get sent back to Oblivion.
  • There is a 20 second cooldown before another random Daedra is summoned, reduced by 1.5 seconds for every 10 conjuration skill levels.
  • The variety of Daedra summoned depends on your conjuration skill. At lower skill levels, only flame atronachs are summoned. (see below for summoning levels)
  • Random Daedra do count towards the summoning limit, but while they are active your summoning limit is increased by 3 so it doesn't interfere with whatever else you have summoned*
  • They aren't affected by perks. So perks that increase the duration of summons don't affect the random summons, i.e. they are always 10 second summons.
  • They also don't give you skill xp when summoned.

* this is a sort of janky system. It also does make it so that you could summon a random Daedra, then spam something like Flame Thrall a couple times before the random Daedra disappears. Since the random summons only last 10 seconds, and you probably don't have the magicka to spam summon other things until high levels/enchants, and there is a cooldown between summons, this probably maybe isn't an issue.

Also, because spells are marked to cast on "self", the game will try to place the summons wherever available. This often means right in front of you, so sometimes you might summon a random Daedra and immediately accidentally kill it or hit it with a spell. I don't think I can do much about this without writing some spaghetti system to place them smartly.

Where to learn this passive ability:
You learn it from reading the Grimoire of Supreme Summoning looted off the corpse of Borvir.
You can also just sell the book.

Lame, I know. I didn't want to put this in the perk tree because of potential mod conflicts and also because my creation kit is broken and doesn't show me perk trees. I might make a small quest to make it less boring to get.

Toggling the ability:
There is also a lesser power that toggles the ability, in case you are in a situation where you don't want these summons.

Random Daedra:
  • Flame Atronach (min level 0)
  • Frost Atronach (min level 30)
  • Storm Atronach (min level 60)
  • Seeker (min level 40)
  • Lurker (min level 40)
  • Dremora Lord (min level 65)

Addons
The FOMOD has the following addons (requires FLM):

Installation/Uninstallation
Can be installed mid-game, but you probably will need to spawn in the grimoire if Borvir already spawned.
