Version 1.2 is up! Fixed a bunch of things, re-made every port, fixed all the invisibility glitches, fixed hair clipping through helmets, fixed Vex's skin/hair colors, fixed Frea's facegen map, replaced the wrinkles texture with a better one, aaaaand added eight new NPCs, which are:
- Aela the Huntress - Dravynea the Stoneweaver - Elisif the Fair - Ghorza gra-Bagol - Hroki - Illia - Mjoll the Lioness - Narri
I'm going to go get myself a couple cups of coffee and pray that everything works properly this time. As always, if you see a bug or problem please let me know, and happy gaming!
This is the SSE conversion of my NPC mod here. It's been tested and seems to work fine. However, I'm not an experienced SSE modder, and I do not actively play SSE, so if I have missed something, please let me know!
I'd strongly suggest publishing mods with pictures that have JUST the published mod and not any others.
By all means publish both types of pictures (ones with just this mod, and ones with other mods) but whatever is emblazoned in the cover picture and the first few pictures or the pictures in the description, etc., is what people expect to get.
I know the original mod creator might not see this but maybe other creators will and take it into consideration.
Also I strongly recommend not using NMM for creating nor using mods. It's not great and most people don't use it...and those who do end up with a lot of problems because so many mods are iffy in terms of NMM support. If you're concerned about load orders use LOOT or try one of many load order mods here on Nexus.
why does Vex look worse in all the face and hair mods... I swear I have checked over 20 hair and face mods and they make her look worse, is it personal?
It's just straight-up not working. No one's faces are changed. I picked the USSEP plugin version, made sure the plugin was enabled, and made sure it was last in the load order behind the one other mod I have that I know has face data (Immersive College of Winterhold), yet everyone still looks vanilla.
Hi, in the meshes facegendata you add the 0004d6d0.nif, this is the facegen for dead Astrid, I suppose you have created it to match with the living Astrid, the problem is that you havent added the respective facetint and the esp dont have any data for it, this lead to a blackface. Have you simply forgot the tintmask and the esp data? (update/fix?) Or you wouldnt add it? (delete?)
I didn't add a skin tint because the vanilla one works fine, there's no need to increase the resolution or add makeup (imo). So I left it out intentionally. I didn't bother putting the duplicate Astrid in the .esp because I've never come across a mod that would create a conflict and it seemed unnecessary, but if it's causing issues for you I'll remember to make an edit in the plugin for the next update
This is absolutely my favorite replacer for many NPCs, especially Mjoll! <3
For those asking about only using certain faces from this mod, I recommend checking out EasyNPC. It does take a bit of time to set up (be sure to follow the instructions step by step) but once you get the hang of it, the tool is actually "easy" to use. It's worth the time to enjoy the magnificent work of multiple mod authors without conflicts.

Adds eyes to the headparts and thus will cause her to have blackface now with your mods facegen overwriting USSEP's.
