need some help, well have dowloaded this mod since already a week wich mean already around 50 hour of skyrim and haven't be talk to by any npc or something like that is that normal, and well if someone can explain me how to start thing that would be nice =)
What a fun little place, I like it a lot! Are you still planning to develop this mod further? I'd love to get to know the various inhabitants better at some point, they all seem so interesting!
The courier never delivers the quest for me either.
The keep is still accessible via the boat near Windhelm, but I'm not sure if there's supposed to be more to it - are the NPCs in the keep (like Walks-On-Face, great name btw) meant to have any sort of interaction with the player or dialogue?
Also, nothing in the keep is marked as belonging to the player - not sure if the quest would change this, but everything has the 'steal' prompt. If that's intended, I don't know, just thought I'd let you know since that's unusual in player homes so I wasn't sure if it was related to the nonexistent questline.
Sorry for the late reply, there are some that the quest won't work for and unfortunately I can't figure out why or replicate the issue. Ownership of items shouldn't have anything to do with how the quest is completed. As far as ownership goes, there's nothing in the main hall, followers quarters, or merchant quarters that belong to the player. Since I have guards patrolling the area does have it's own crime system, so stealing can have interesting results, lol! However, everything in the Dragon Room(players quarters) should be marked as player owned. I'll open it back up in CK and make sure I didn't miss something. Other than being able to get a follower and trade with merchants there's no other dialogue or interactions with npc's.
*Edit* I did find some ownership issues in the Dragon Room which should be fixed in V3.0, thanks for pointing them out, I appreciate the feedback!
Yeah not getting courier either and I started it mid-game. I'll do some more runs on loot but yeah I want to find this new home but cant get the initial quest.
This is really weird, I've used it on multiple playthroughs, still using it actually. I can't find anything in CK that would be wrong. To bypass the quest portion follow the road going past the Windhelm stables and the farms. Along the coast will be a boat on the shore, go in the trap door on board the boat and it'll take to an island, follow the path on the island(it's a small island) to the nordic ruin. Don't forget to grab the key out of the strongbox when you 1st go down the stairs.
Strange...I'll look into that, he's supposed to deliver a note. In multiple play-throughs, fresh start, mid-game, and end-game, that's one item I've never had fail. All I had to do was walk into town and there he was.
