I don't often comment on mods but I had to share how much I really appreciate this mod! I actually started up a playthrough as Balthier recently with the Fran follower mod and got super excited when I first saw this get published. It was an instant download.
I'm still working out more ways of using the gambit system besides auto-casting mage armor spells at the start of combat (and wishing there was an option to recast automatically when it ends during ongoing combat) and very excited to find some fun synergy with it at higher levels. With this and the Spell Hotbar mod that lets me keep a rifle equipped while slinging spells it almost feels like I've plucked the sky pirate straight out of Ivalice.
I've been trying around with this mod and I absolutely love it! I was wondering if there was a way to set a channeling spell like flame cloak to block? I tried a few different combinations but couldn't get that specifically to work.
Also wondering if I could convince you to add a stealth gambit and/or sprint gambit?
Either way I don't want to sound ungrateful. I love that I can put multiple spells on a single gambit and how easy it is to change cool down in MCM menu. Gambit is a permanent mod in my LO
I've been playing modded Skyrim since 2012 and just now stubbled upon this brilliant mod! Gambit is my favorite X-Men and this wasn't what I was expecting when I searched in Nexus haha. This is a game changer and I hope others will come to see the benefits of of this mod. Thank you!
First is thank you for your work，may you create a translation file for it in the interface? When I tried to translate, I found that many words were in multiple scripts.
Plenty of use, like automatically cast an armor boosting spell upon drawing your weapon. Another mod that did this had crouching as a trigger, so set it up to auto cast invisibility on crouching, that kinda deal. Cast lightning on a power attack.
