WARNING: I think i have to made this clear, do not use this files with PureDark DLLS Upscaler, this files was made mainly for ENB users or users who do not want to use Pure Darks Upscaler.
Next thing is about DLDSR: DLDSR is a DOWNSCALER, you render the game in a higher resolution than your display, and than downscaled back again to your native Display Resolution, with this new extra gained pixel you get a sharper and better image quality, like Anti Aliasing but you loose Performance. What we do here is UPSCALING, we render the game in lower Resolution and than upscaling it back to your native Display resolution, we gain the Anti Aliasing effect and lost Pixel back from DLAA, since DLAA is now on Tranformer Model, you have the same or better Picture Quality than with DLDSR and we gain Performance.
Because of Percentage rendering, this is not the same like running the game in 1080p on an 1440p display, the rendering resolution here is on Engine base, not on Window/resolution base, thats the big difference.
It makes no sense to use DLDSR with DLAA or with an Upscaler, DLSS by the way is an Upscaler too.
I have been having difficulties making the upscaling function work properly. When I set it to scale 75% at 2k, it simply reduces the size of the game window in the corner of my monitor instead of stretching it to fullscreen. I have been searching for a solution to this, as some people seem to have no issue getting it to work but others, such as myself, just can't get it right. If anyone can offer a solution to this issue, I would be extremely grateful, because I don't enjoy playing at full resolution at 30fps, but I want to avoid going all the way down to 1080p on my 2k monitor. Thank you.
I have heard from this problem several times, but i cannot reproduce it on my end, perhaps some driver settings or another setting is preventing display tweak to set the game tobordeless fullscreen, driver settings have priority over any other settings.
There is another possible conflict in Windows 11, when you have high DPI app scaling active, try to disable it.
Honestly....I hate having to go into display settings but....when I go 1440p on my 4k monitor, I simply change windows display settings to 150% before I play. Works perfectly.
wonderful mod but may i ask for more specific presets for dldsr user like myself? most dldsr presets requires either scaling 75% for 1.78x and edit: " 65-66% range " for 2.25x bring the game back to native* (minus a pixel or 2) for monitor respective resolutions ensuring better menu sizes & optimal image quality, i don't want to bloat my comment with the many resolution variants if you are interested to do it, then do a search for dldsr Resolution Table thread on reddit note: if crtl+f this keyword DLDSR Presets: to locate to all the major used resolutions faster
I have made this settings because DLSS is not free for ENB users, some users dont want to spend money, others cannot spend money for ENB DLSS, for DLSS users, this ini files are useless.
WOW Fantastic. Finally the game runs great. The only problem is that Wheeler - Quick Action should be resized but the dmenu used for settings is also wrong. Any ideas? i have 2560x1440 75% scale.
I am a bit confused here. 1. Let's just assume my game now have a visual quality of 100% and a performance of 100% (with no ENB Anti-Aliasing). 2. After installing ENB Anti-Aliasing, my game will have a visual quality improvement, but with a performance drop? Like now I have visual 110% and performance 90%? 3. And after using the upscaler, I will have a bit reduced visual compared to step 2, and massive improved performance? Like visual 100% and performance 110%. I have a stable 60FPS in most areas, but if there is a way to increase performance without losing visual quality, I am happy to take that.
Sorry to bother but if I am using puredark's upscaler for fsr 3.1, would this still be recommended to do? Or do you think the visual loss would far outweigh the performance gain?
It works with FSR and FSR3.1 framegen, i think the visual lost is acceptable for performance gain, play around a little bit with sharpening and i think you will get realy good results.
Sadly, when I just tried it: My game got very pixelated and the camera was very zoomed in like the upscaler did not turn on even though I set it to true. I didn't use your inis here, just enabled it on my own... so maybe that's why? You could have somrthign else enabled that I do not that makes things not work for me.
BorderlessUpscale = true ## Set the game resolution. Only applies in windowed and borderless fullscreen mode (when Fullscreen=false). # # Provided for convenience. Easily scale or set the resolution in windowed/borderless fullsceen mode. # # Note: These options override iSize W and iSize H in SkyrimPrefs.ini. They have no effect when commented out. # Resolution = 1920x1080 ResolutionScale = 0.75 Disable swap chain buffer resizing when window dimensions change (e.g. when upscaling). # # Enable if you're experiencing effect issues with ENB when upscaling. # DisableBufferResizing = true
I have not enabled buffer resizing, my tweaks are only working with FSR AA and DLAA, and frame gen, but not with DLSS and FSR upscaler, thats a different thing, the main reason for upscaling with display tweak, is the fact, that DLSS doesnt work with ENB, or only when you pay for the DLSS upscaler. Do not use display tweak uscaling when you use DLSS or FSR upscaler, use one or another not both.
Before you use any of this ini files, make sure you have not change the resolution from your game in Nvidia App or any other tools, when you run your game on 1080p on your 1080p display, it should not blurry, when you use any of this ini files, use it with FSR or DLAA or your image is blurry.
If I want to simply increase FPS Will choosing to install ENB Anti-Aliasing and use this setting be better than not installing ENB Anti-Aliasing and not using this setting?
Ok, i try to explain this, with Display Tweak and my settings, your game renders in percentage in Borderless Fullscreen and is always scaled up to your right Display resolution and with DLAA or FSR the unsharp problem is gone and you can archive a nearly perfect picture. You gain frames and smothness because of borderless fullscreen and percentage rendering, and this is different from only setting a lower resolution and streching up the picture to your display size, because this works only in fullscreen in the main game without Display Tweak.
Simplyfied: Percentage Rendering gives you more frames and much better control how many performance you want in exchange for picture quality, than simply running the game in lower resolution with picture resizing.
Hi I dont like the streched screen caused by 1920x1200 resolution of my laptop. theres a way to setup to run at 1920x1080 full screen (with black bars up and down of the screen?) only changing the resolution in .ini file sets the size of the window and in the low part of the screen windows desktop stills while running the game.

For Community Shader users, download TAA Sharpen at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community and activate DLAA in game over the Community Shader settings (overlay).
AMD users and Nvidia GTX users can use FSR3.1.

My game is now On the top left ( leaving some of the right and bottom part as my desktop)
I use ur setting, choose the 75% but then it becomes like this. it wont go to fullscreen.
I am using 1080p monitor. And it is native resolution.
I am not sure which is causing the problem... i am prretty sure it's on my end... thank you
Also : I'm using this Skyrim Priority SE AE - CPU Performance FPS Optimizer

can I use 100% scale what will that do??
I have 1080p monitor and high spec pc
my monitor is FullHD but I prefer to play in wide16:10 at 1680x1050
Would realy like to keep it like this but upscaled to reduce stutter and improve fps
