    great mod, it's just the telekinesis spell has no visual effect or sound. Was it changed or is this a bug?

    I'm LOVING the mod. I've always wanted to play Skyrim with a psionics-based character and you've made my dreams come true.
    I've got all the powers to work EXCEPT for the mist/ethereal form letting me walk/pass through bars and crates. I'm able to become the form, but I can't pass through objects. Is there a key combination (like with telekinesis) that I'm missing? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

      Thank you...I used MO2 to install your mod, so I didn't even see the readme file in the archive. Everything works. Thanks again for a great mod!

    Great mod, highly underrated.
    Really enjoyig the "activate-stuff-with-telekinesis"-feature.
    But is it normal that the above mentioned feature only works with mouse and keyborad. when i play with a controller i get the "activate stuff (i.e. harvest plant) to pop up, but when i hit the "activate button" it doesnt do anyting. works like a charm with mouse and keyboard but not conroller. is there a way around that, because i would like to use it on my steam deck

    New version of the mod has been published. Details:
    - added ASO Shadow Cloak,
    - added Shadow Sense,
    - added ASO Shadow Warp,
    - added ASO Shadow Hand,
    - added 3 ASO Battle Ward lesser powers.

    Is the Portal spell complete? By that I mean i am unable to find its prerequisite spell the "destination rune". I used the help function and i can see references of magic effects and the spell itself but no spell tome. I am just wondering if this is just on my end or is there someone else who is experiencing the same problem.

      I manually added the spell via console command. The rune glitches in and out of existence and the portal spell does not detect the destination rune. Am I alone in this problem? I am not sure whether it conflicts with another mod or not but I find that very unlikely since this mod adds spells and does not seem to modify vanilla spells. Anyone else?

      Very strange you should but the spell book (or add it via console). When you use the spell tome all 3 spells are added. You must set the the destination of one portal and then use the other spell to open portal. Remember that it takes time to open portal. Once it is opened you must activate it.

      Yes, I realize the problem and have fixed it on my end. I manually added the two more missing spells via console. The only spell I learned from the tome was the Portal - open. The set and choose were not learned. I am unsure if this is a problem that only I face but that was my solution. For those who are experiencing the same problem, open the console, then type [help "ASO Portal"] to find the ID of the two spells. ASO Portal - set and ASO Portal - Choose. Add them via player.addspell <spellid>. The only problem I faced was that the two other spells wasn't being added. They work as intended though.

      Another problem has surfaced while playing though. It seems the ASO - Spirit Form isn't letting me walk through doors and gates. I and other actors are rendered invisible which works just fine. Weirdly enough, I have to cast a spell to be able to deactivate spirit form. Trying to deactivate it as soon as it is active does nothing. To deactivate, I have to attack or cast a spell to do so. Is that normal? I assume that one is a problem on my own end though, but it is worth mentioning in case someone else is experiencing the same thing.

Please try my other spell - ethereal form. Perhaps you will find it even more interesting.

    A new version of the mod has been published with the following changes:
    - improved ASO flames
    - improved applying of spells via mesmering and telepathy
    - added ASO Ethereal Form spell
    - ASO Spirit Form and ASO ghost minions no longer have weakness to magic
    - fixed a bug with cleaning ASO Ghost Minion after its death

    Thank you Gulogulo for this excellent mod! I use your spells all the time and they are some of my favorites! I have one question: How can I avoid freezing my followers to death with ASO Frostbite? I've disabled damage, but it still insta-freezes my followers even "essential" ones and they die after being defrosted. Any advice is much appreciated.

      Well, the easiest way would be not to subject them to the spell in the first place. The spell was not design in a way to avoid killing followers. On the other hand you could have mechanical or undead followers. They will not be killed by the spell. Only immobilized and you could defrost them with flame spell. If you want to change the spell you must manipulate it via CK of course and apply a condition to avoid followers. I dont remember exactly the kind of conditions.

      Thank you for the reply Gulogulo. I do "try" not to hit them with the spell, but you know how followers are... They like to run in front of you at the most inopportune moments! I was just curious if there was an easy way to avoid killing/bugging them out. Like in the case of Serana. She doesn't die, but she disappears when defrosted and cannot be re-summoned with any spells like sfsummon mod. I have to reload to a previous save. Now, I did not try prid moveto. That may work, but it's doubtful. I just wanted to know if I was doing something wrong in regards to thawing essential followers and I think you answered that question. The mod is designed to kill the victim regardless of them being marked essential. I thought (from a logic standpoint) that thawing would work on an undead, essential follower. So thank you for clarifying that and thanks again for a truly great mod!

    First, I love the spells and the variety of game play they provide.

    I have a question to where i add "set ASO_RaiseDeadSlaveAsh to 0". I tried looking through the script folder and couldn't find any ASO_RaiseDeadSlaveAsh variable. Can you guide me to where the variable is or where I am suppose to add it?

    I like using the spells like sleep/dominate/charm etc but they use the mana<player-mana mechanic. In early levels this is not a problem, but at higher levels the wait time for putting someone to sleep/dominate/charm/possess takes forever due to their high mana.(For example: mana at 1 would be instant but at magicka 200 it would take 30s+) Even if i have a lot more mana/magicka it would still take a long time. Is there a way to remove the magicka check to make this not take so long ? the only work arounds i have tried was to set enemies to 1 magicka or draining their magicka to speed up the time.

      Hi,
      Ad 1) You must write in in console during gameplay. Don't look in to scripts.
      Ad 2) I will try to do something about it. I am not happy with this aspect as well. However it will take some time.. Thanks for letting me know about the problem.

    I am having trouble getting a few of the spells to work. Telepathy and Flock of birds won't do anything. Possession works but I am unable to manually attack even after toggling favorites. Sheathing my weapon, changing it, crouching works, only attacks if provoked. Any suggestions to fixing these issues?

      Telepathy and Flock od birds work. Just make sure you are not undead. The possession works. In case of possession the best way to attack is not in the manual mode. Aim at target and press attack control. This will send the actor into combat mod. Then approach the target and the attacks will be automatic.

    Hey,

    awesome spells so far!
    After installing the mod, I can't interact with a lot of NPCs Farengar, the Jarl of Whiterun for example.

      I cannot recreate the bug. All works for me. How exactly it happened? Was it straight after installing my mod and after some time? What spells have you used?

      Hey,

      thank you for the time! I could not interact with most NPCs directly after installing ASO-magic. Haven't used any magic upto that point.
      But I could steal from Farengar and try out Telekinesis.

      So stealing works and Vampire mechanics do too, just no talking.

      If you couldn't recreate it, then it must be a bad mod combination. :)

      But is there any other way of playing skyrim, except heavily modded? :P

      I found the problem, it was because of sneak_tools and a mod that adds various masks that conceal your identity, so once all concealing items where gone you could talk to people in Whiterun again. Thought it was a bug, because I could talk to everyone else in skyrim.

      Great! BTW you know you can tweak the Sneak Tools mod so it will no longer prevent you from talking to NPCs?
