This is an absolute must have for bone meal! Especially good with the Campfire mod since you cant place the portable enchanter without 1 bone meal. Bone meal aplenty now. Soo good!
Hello! I tried to make it compatible with Cadaver! I added this line "Keyword = DTS_SkeletonArgonian|*_asd_CadaverSkeletonArgonianActor" to patch this mod and test for the cadaver argonian skeletons, but when I hit the body in game, it just disappeared. Good thing is I found the proper editor id for it. But could you consider making your mod compatible with cadaver? It's a must have for a necromancer! This mod would be a must have too if I could make it compatible
If the corpse disappears at all, then you have done everything correctly. But you need the Immersive Creatures or Beast Skeletons mod to drop bones. If Cadaver itself contains skulls, you should put its editorID in the _FLM.ini mod in the Argonian formlist. Put it right next to the other editorIDs for skulls from other mods.
When I have more time and if there are actually bones in there, I'll consider doing a patch.
Oh wait this was a bug!? I just posted in the other part talking about this and I used the same example of a bandit. I used the 1.0 version. I'll try 1.3 then!
The only issue I'm facing is that I'd like to blacklist all humans and beasts that have their skin on lol. I only want it to affect skeletons. Could you please help me identify which lines of the INI file are when it's a regular npc such as a bandit? Otherwise this mod concept is super awesome!
Kill registration is assigned to the player, so only the player can dismember skeletons upon killing. Honestly, I'm not sure if it can be done differently without causing a bloat save with scripts. But if it's a major concern, you can use the mod with Skeletons Don't Fall Apart - this way, if an NPC kills it, you'll be able to dismember the solid "corpse" afterward, it will look more smooth.
Oh sorry for wasting your time, now that i had more time i read the entire description and saw that you specify the player killing the skeleton and also recommend that mod for , i was in a hurry and was testing some mods and didn't read it entirely. I will keep using your mod and will use your recommendation, they are a very cool addition to the immersion of the game! Thank you and sorry again!

Here I must have made a mistake, I'll fix it. The mods are compatible, you can use the voice to kill, and the leftovers will drop out after. Sorry for the confusion!
The skeleton probably had these parts in its inventory, could you double-check? And if still no, could you give the keyword distributed to it if you use More Informative Console?
Keywords when selecting armbone and legbone: KIT_Info_Clutter and VendorItemClutter. Have not test other skeleton parts. Also laggy when smelting bones into bone meal, took about 1-2 seconds to create a bone meal.
Sorry, I worded that wrong, I mean the keyword on the skeleton or the corpse of the skeleton (before dismemberment). After getting dismembered, the actor disappears, bones are just misc items. As for smelting, there are no scripts there, they're regular recipes, so the lags shouldn't be mod related.
In that case, the duplication could most likely be an engine bug when the script gets delayed on your system. And I'm not sure if it's fixable, but I'll see if I can reproduce and workaround it.

Am using The Restless Dead and I've tested using flame spell to dismember a skeleton and there's no duplicate skeleton misc items.
