About this mod

Add-on for Cathedral Landscapes that adjusts the grass in the Rift for a Fall color pallete, makes the Whiterun tundra foliage less patchy, and adds slight color variety to the Hjaalmarch swamp grass. No new assets, just changes which Cathedral grass assets appear in these locations.

Update (20 Dec 2024): The Green Tundra version now works as intended- fixed an error that made the Rift Grass still green while using the "Green Tundra" version.

This mod requires Cathedral Landscapes (CL), which produces a lush and cohesive look for landscape and foliage in a performance-friendly way. This tweak provides an alternate look for the grass and groundcover in a few regions: the Rift, the Hjaalmarch swamp, and the Whiterun tundra. No new assets, it just allocates different grass assets, which the main mod already uses somewhere else, to the areas I wanted to change.

It started because I wanted a less green, drier "Fall" look for the grass in the autumnal Rift forests to better match the trees. I also took the opportunity to introduce a subtle injection of brown into the mostly white frozen swamp grass around Morthal, and make the Whiterun Tundra foliage more uniform and less patchy (Brown and Green Tundra versions available).

The images were taken with Landscape Fixes for Grass Mods and Grass FPS Booster (iMinGrassSize 40) active.

DOWNLOAD:
Just grab one of the main files (Green or Brown Tundra) and install as normal; place immediately after Cathedral Landscapes.

Or if you're picky about plugins and compatibility, choose one of the 8 files to download based on the following options:

-Full plugin replacer for Cathedral Landscapes (CL) OR Patch version that only targets the changed records. (Use the patch if you already have another mod that replaces the main CL plugin or are using the grass-only version of CL. Otherwise, just use the replacer and load it immediately after the main mod.)
-Normal "fat" esp OR esl-flagged esp. (If using the Patch version, make the same choice here that you made when installing the main CL mod.)
-"Brown" or "Green" Whiterun Tundra. (Whichever option you're using in the main mod.)
