I made this first but I was not happy, so I made it better, changed the location, and called it Ebongrove.

Undriel - A couple of years ago I posted my joy over this mod. Now, I fear RG and the game may have gone their separate ways. As soon as I stepped into RG, my attempts to carry out activities such as alchemy, enchanting, smithing, even mining all caused CTDs. The problem is persistent all over Solstheim. I can interact with people, doors, containers, etc. but the game is now all but unplayable.
I tried everything my limited knowledge permitted - to no avail. Finally, I disabled RG. Success ...... for about 24 hours, when the problem re-bloomed in all its gory glory.

I certainly don't have the chops to say RG is the cause, but it clearly doesn't play well with something! I'm an obsessive Description reader and found nothing that claimed incompatibility with RG. The only mods I'm running specifically for Solstheim are texture replacements. Might you have any suggestions before I tear the entire game down and start again (aye-yai-yai)?
PS - I still miss having a smelter.

Ok that's weird! Sorry for the late response and thanks for letting me know.
Please get your bearings out of Redoran Grove, uninstall it, and download Ebongrove. It's a revamped and more useful version of Redoran Grove, with a smelter. Let me know if you have issues with this house as well.

Hi, I downloaded this mod as well as your Ebongrove, I was under the understanding that they were compatible, . However when I try to use the teleport in Redoran, to return to White run for instance, it does not work, but when I exit the Redoran house it loads me at the Ebongrove entrance in skyrim lol. I am not sure if there is a special thing I have to have to use both homes because I would really like to have them both in my game. They are both Beautiful and very convenient. Please advise and thank you :))

Oh this makes a lot of sense. Whoops, sorry for the mishap, and thank you for letting me know that they do conflict. I'm gonna address this in the description.

Sorry if that was not making much sense, I was half asleep and tried to explain that conflict best I could lol. Thanks for the quick response :)

wish it had beds for companions.....it is what it is. My dunmer is RPed as an escaped slave girl and much prefers to be underground anyway.....

Hey! Check my newer house, Ebongrove. Links are in description. It's got an extra room etc. It's basically the improved version of this one, and it's placed in Skyrim.

This is perhaps my favorite home mod. The size is right, the layout is interesting and logical, and the clutter isn't overwhelming. I installed it some time ago and have just gotten around to Solstheim and love it.

Have you enough time to answer a question? In the comments below you write of activating the smelter and adding extra beds. Did you do this or simply abandon the idea to work on your mainland home (which I'll download shortly). Certainly none of the images show extra beds or point out the mini-smelter and your version number hasn't changed. A "No" won't make any difference to my next play-through but I'd love to see the smelter Implemented.

    Thanks for a great mod.

Ah, I straight up abandoned the idea of improving Redoran Grove any further and only focused on Ebongrove, which is basically the same home with improvements. The reason is because I'm paranoid: editing the Solstheim worldspace while having Hearthfire dependencies causes issues in sorting masters via xEdit. While not being game-breaking (this home has been out for a lot of time and no one reported any issue so far), I tend not to trust even the slightest false positive and i'll avoiding mixing Hearthfire stuff in Dragonborn's added lands the future. Thank you for writing! I'm happy you like it!

It doesn't make sense to have those given the backstory of this home. Check Ebongrove, its rework. There is a link on the description page.

I will update it with a smelter and a room with extra beds (almost done). For now you could compensate with the teleport feature. Track the file so you get notified when the update is up.

Sorry to hijack, but would it cause any weirdness to install the current version and upgrade later when more beds are added? I'm never sure what gets baked into saves and what doesn't as far as edits like this go. :)

Upgrading will be safe, I'm basically moving clutter, adding a smelter and replacing some basic vanilla meshes. There will also be a separate download for the version that will be compatible with Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions (safe to upgrade too). I'm doing this in my spare time, sorry for the delay!

"North of Raven Rock" as stated in mod's description. I also said you can see the marker on the map and provided a screenshot of the exact location on this page's gallery. In case you don't know where Raven Rock is, know that Google is your friend, and there you will get all the information needed in order to unlock Dragonborn DLC's content. However, if these directions are too hard for you, I suggest you use your hands to actually play and explore the game - or do some research - before posting comments that can get you banned.
