About this mod

This is a new armor set consisting of recolored vanilla gear, aimed for an assassin or thief; a guard cuirass, thieves guild bracers, thieves guild boots and a black monk hood. The mod is now redone to work as intended(hopefully) but I have also decided to open it up as a modder's resource due to a loss of interest. Also for Oldrim.

Info:

This is my Black Shadow Assassin Armor that I made in 2013, remade for Oldrim and ported to SE because it's been on my to-do list. I have now redone the .esp part of it, but it doesn't look as good as I remember it. The textures are not edited, it's the same ones that I recolored in 2013. I used sharpen on Oldrim standard textures(Standard def, could not run HD, sharpen was all I knew) so that's why the buckles look very crude. I have also lost interest in it so I am opening it up as a playable modder's resource. You are allowed to edit/update as long as you credit me and notify me about it. If someone wants to overtake the mod that is also possible. But I want to be notified in a pm first so we can make it official.

Due to the bad textures you can't get good close-ups of the hood or armor. Weirdly enough the bracers and boots looks fine up close though.

Versions:

Standalone from the guard armors, you can use this alongside any guard replacer out on the Nexus.

This is the final version. It's a port of an old mod of mine. Not going to update it anymore. Maybe further down the line but not anytime soon.

Where to find:
There's a bridge close to the western watchtower. Continue along the road until you see a stone bridge, much like the one by Honningbrew Meadery. There will be a big mudcrab there named Hank the Giant Mudcrab. He has 3 pieces of each part in his inventory. He is unwilling to trade with you so you'll have to murder him. Hank does not respawn.

Craftable
It's craftable if you have the Advanced Armors perk. The images shows it in the dragon category but that's because I put it as ArmorMaterialDragonscale, I'm hoping that's how you give it good armor rating lol. Refer to images for recipe. Also temperable.

Why does the khajiit have ears sticking out of the hood?
Because I think it looks good, feels like something is missing if the ears aren't there. I did not bother on the argonian to be honest. =/
