    Rules of the modpage...

    1. Follow the instructions before commenting that something is wrong, If your game wont start then you probably didnt extract the BSA file into loose files, if your not seeing any change ingame then you need to fix your load order or save the oldrim ESP in the CK64.

    2. Don't be rude or offensive in anyway in your comments, that will get you banned.

To convert the animations from oldrim:
    1. Grab the original files from the oldrim VT page extract the bsa etc. etc. as explained on this mod's page to it's own folder (an MO2 mod folder for example), we'll call it mod_folder_name (name it what you want)
    2. Go here https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2970 and grab the bat file from that file page and get your hands on HavokBehaviorPostProcess.exe as explained in its description
    3. Copy both those files (HavokBehaviorPostProcess.exe and converttoskyrimSE.bat) to the folder you created in step one in the path mod_folder_name\Meshes\actors\character\animations
    4. Run the bat file
    5. Go grab FNIS and run its FNIS for modders executable and click "Generate Mod Behavior" and then select the file in mod_folder_name\Meshes\actors\character\animations\FNIS_mslVampiricThirst_List.txt and let it do its thing.
    6. Now you should be able to run FNIS normally and it shouldn't give you any errors with the mod installed and the animations should work if they're still set up to be used.

Thank you for making the mod available for Skyrim se. I tried only a couple of vamp mods so far and this one is my new favorite. Wish I found this earlier.

Just 2 things I wanna mention.
First of I couldn't figure out how to use ck64 to unpack the bsa. I used a different tool called BSAopt.
Now I got no experience with mod creating or if that causes any trouble. Just as a quick headsup to those having trouble. It's pretty self explanatory

2ND is that the oldrim mod has still the fnis animations attached. While they might not be needed, if you run fnis with this mod activated in sse you get a T-Pose in game. So if you use FNIS, deactivate vampiric thirst (the whole mod, not just the esp)first, run FNIS and activate VT again

Whatever happened to your own version of lichdom? I want to play it.

Also, would you be willing to modify this for Custom Races so that the Vampire and Undead Keywords get added to the Player? This was done for "Sanguinair Vampirism"

    Thank you.

I was just about to give up on getting this to work but just then, it finally did. This was my favorite mod of all time on standard Skyrim, thank you so much for giving it new life!

I can't manage to complete the second step, no clue how to use the creation kit. Anyone who could be kind enough to upload their own file for download?

As much as I would love to try Vampiric Thirst for SE, I think id wait for an actual port so all the systems and perks are functional. x3 From what I can tell, you did a marvelous job working with what you were able to. With the permissions updated on the original, I cant wait to see a true port later on the road :3

The original creator isn't working on this any longer, so there will likely not be a port. :(

In case this ever gets an update, can you add damage to holy temple/ certain daedric shrine damage (but not trespassing penalty, as those rules do not apply for the vile spawn of Molag Bal). Also will this work with Sacrosanct patch for vampiric thirst?

I get several warnings from FINIS that several animations are not compatible with SE

    >>Warning: \character\behaviors\FNIS_mslVampiricThirst_Behavior.hkx not Skyrim SE compatible<<
    Reading mslVampiricThirst>>Warning: \character\animations\mslVampiricThirst\mslVTSleepUnderEnter.hkx not Skyrim SE compatible<<
    >>Warning: \character\animations\mslVampiricThirst\mslVTSleepUnderLoop.hkx not Skyrim SE compatible<<
    >>Warning: \character\animations\mslVampiricThirst\mslVTSleepUnderExit.hkx not Skyrim SE compatible<<
    >>Warning: \character\animations\mslVampiricThirst\mslVTCutHandBlood.hkx not Skyrim SE compatible<<
    >>Warning: \character\animations\mslVampiricThirst\mslVTWoozy.hkx not Skyrim SE compatible<<
    V?.? ...
For now I think Ill track because I know from experience that this can cause issues like T posing, lock ups during animations ect from others I have used and got the same errors

They are from abilities which I altered to not use custom animations, there is no problem.

I looked around several vamp mods and this one suited me the best so thanks for the port!

I'm having a minor issue with fire resistance - I'm still getting - 150% instead of -50%. Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing? This and the original VT are the only vampire mods I'm using.
