As I haven't yet figured out a way to integrate WryeBash tags into the mod itself, you will have to add the delev tag to the esp file in this mod yourself when building bashed patches. The delev tag tells WryeBash that this esp is deleting from the original master esp.
If you don't add the delev tag to this esp, WryeBash will think this esp complements, rather than deletes from the original esp from Animated Armoury, and will therefore funnel all the deleted items back into the levelled list after reading both esps.
How to add delev tag as an end user:
- Open WryeBash.
- Tick the mods on the left pane that you wish to include in your new bashed patch as you would normally do.
- Select "NewArmouryLListPatch.esp" from this mod in the left pane, and navigate to the Bashed Tags box in the right pane.
- Click on the + sign to add tags, and select Delev from the dropdown list.
- Make sure you load NewArmouryLListPatch.esp after (below) other esps that alter levelled lists, such as USSEP and WACCP, otherwise WryeBash will get confused and the delev tag won't work as intended.
- Now go ahead and rebuild your bashed patch.
Mod Description:
Lore-friendly levelled list patch for Animated Armoury mod.
Removed claws and quarterstaves from bandits, foresworn, draugr and warlock levelled lists, because these are unconventional weapons with obvious flaws and therefore shouldn't be turning up everywhere in the world. Secondary reason being that with the precision physics mod loaded, NPCs absolutely suck at using claws due to their short reach.
Also removed rapiers from bandit levelled lists for the most part, though some may occasionally spawn with rapiers still. Did this mainly because rapier animations don't pair well with shields. Yes the rotella and sidesword combo was historically used by bandits and soldiers alike, but sidewords weren't really thrust centric. They were essentially just arming swords with complex hilts.
Added rapiers to warlock levelled lists, because they're excellent defensive sidearms.
Kept draugr rapier lists untouched. This is because draugrs don't use human npc animations, and as such, they swing rapiers around like sideswords, which imo looks fine, esp since the draugr rapier model also looks like a sidesword.
Claws and Qstaff should still appear in loot chests in dungeons but they shouldn't spawn on most enemies except for vampire bosses who may still use claws instead of daggers.
