still having that issue esl, but its in the game but another issue is that no soul tokens are appearing in the game, i killed many NPCs but the tokens dont show up. is there any way i can get them in game and not from console command or mods that add thing from the game/cheating.
This would pair well with the mod Surfeit of Souls - A Passive Soul Trap System https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/59861 . I did something similar to this with Passive Soul Absorption https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/96164?tab=description , by combining it with Your Soul Is Mine - Soul Gem Relinquishment https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/30881 .
Hello. So, I cast a Soul Trap on an enemy, my minions killed him - and nothing happened. What did I do wrong? Could you please explain how this works in your mod?
The code works by adding a script to the effect the Soul Trap magic effect attached to the soul trap spell and enchantment.
Inside of the script, its basically: Was the enemy already dead when you casted Soul Trap? Is the target dead at the time of the effect end? Is the player the one who casted Soul Trap? If true to all three, then add Soul Tokens based on the Soul Size of the NPC (petty, lesser, common, greater, grand).
If the Soul Trap spell ends before the target's death then you won't get any tokens either.
I didn't test this with other mods, so if something is overwriting that effect, the script I have might not be attached to it anymore. Can you give me your load order?
If you used the spell trap spells from your spell mods, it wouldn't have applied the effect I edited from the base game. I am currently working on a different method of applying the effect. One that would be more compatible with spell mods with custom soul trap spells.
Really interesting concept! I wonder if increasing Stamina will increase carry weight, or if increasing carry weight is on the table as a separate option? Also I noticed "Fortify Smithing" seems to be misspelled with a 'd' in place of the second 'f' in 'Fortify'. Awesome mod! Thanks for creating it!
