anyone reading this in the future, followers technically CAN use the cabin. They cant use the stairs, cooking pot or the alchemy table but they'll levitate up through the floor and into the chair or bed they're using Lol. This version of the alchemy table doesnt have 3rd person animations though and I don't think the cooking pot does either so that would make sense
The link to campfire on the description page goes to the wrong version (LE). Just noting it in case someone might accidentally download the wrong version.
I tried adding collision to the meshes to see if I could fix the issue with the rain coming down the top window, but I think the issue is related to rain being a visual effect instead of an actual collision. So if there is a window on top, rain will come through no matter what. I think the only solution is to replace the top window with roof but that's beyond my capabilities. I can and did however add a lot of collision to the rest of the walls and structure so "shelter" is detected across the board, just not on the bed, which makes it inviable for a survivial playthrough, sadly. The mod otherwise is fantastic. I'm using Campfire, Frostfall, Last Seed, and Primitive Shelter (this one is from this author). That combination allows you to make a 4 bedroll tent with a lot of storage containers, if you are rolling with a "no plans for a house" situation for whatever reason (one of my characters is like that at this moment)
This mod could be the best out there for survival shelter, if it had no window on top, and had a bed for a follower. Only 2 things to change out of the entire mod. But oh well. Wish I could do it myself, the changes I mean.
Hi there, great looking mod, I'm wondering if you HAVE to have campfire installed? Would the placer for Solitude furniture do the job? Campfire itself conflicts too much with my load order
1. The window above the bed, my PC gets wet when its raining. Is it possible to fix it? Maybe make a version without the window above the bed? Maybe put an activate button to close it? Maybe a patch to work with Frostfall? If I use the mod Go to Bed my PC sleeps on the bed and gets wet from the rain. 2. The Stove produces heat? My PC warms up because I'm "indoors" but does the stove counts too? 3. Not too important but, how about put a lantern that you can turn on and off inside the cabin and outside (above the door maybe)?

May I make suggestions?

Thank you.
