Happy 13th Anniversary, everyone! Behold Havardr, a castle built for the nobility of Riften, but is now open for residency, upon completing a short, straightforward, but perhaps challenging, quest. To start the quest, travel to Havardr, which will be marked on your map, and head to the main hall, which can be accessed from the second floor of the atrium. The steward, Peladius, should be located sitting on the throne in the main hall (if not just rest some hours until he appears). After he gives you the quest, head to the room at the very end of the main hall, straight down from where you initially entered. The rest should be straightforward from there. Upon completing the quest, you will be rewarded with a residency in the master bedroom, located above the main hall, which also has rooms for your adopted children. There's also a spell tome on the desk in the master bedroom, which can be used to teleport to that room. You will also gain access to the chapel, located at the top, which has a fountain you can kneel at to receive a blessing. Furthermore, you will be able to use the carriage outside to travel to many locations, similar to the BYOH carriage. Lastly, the bartender in the cellar will give you a gift of the unique wine made in the castle, once per day*. In terms of a player home, this has all of the crafting and storage amenities, noting that the weapon and armor stations are located in the castle's armory, the fish hatchery is in the cellar, and there is an outdoor garden with a bunch of planters.

*
If you have any issues with the bartender/carriage driver dialogue not showing up after you've completed the quest, try to save and re-load, and it should appear.

The castle has dozens of NPCs, such as guards, nobles, servants, chefs, etc., that all have their daily schedules. I also used a voice synth tool to create custom dialogue, so please excuse any wonky sounding voices, but all in all I think it turned out well! There's a lot of rooms, so I recommend using your local map to navigate. There's also a couple secret passages, if you're able to find them ;).  This was a huge project for me, and probably bit off more than I could chew lol, but I'm happy with it and felt like it was time to release. I hope you all enjoy it!

*Now included in Diziet's Player Home Bath Undressing, thanks Diziet!

Minor Stuff:
  • There is a small patch of what I think is a LOD terrain thing, in the back of the courtyard near the chapel's tree. If everyone has a solution, I will happily implement.
  • In terms of LOD, I included pre-generated LOD files, so that you see it in the distance, but I couldn't figure how to do it without having almost a 1Gb of extra files. However, the mod includes some custom LODs, so if you've used Dyndolod or similar, you'll need to re-run it for this mod.

Thanks to SkyrimPlus for the amazing video review of Havardr!
