So... I ran the Night at the Museum quest in my current playthrough last night. At one point in that quest, all the paintings are displayed regardless of how many you've placed so far, and it turns out there ARE 91 total paintings. I had missed 4 in the stairway to the Daedric exhibit (I think because the little wooden crossbars they hang from are not present for these).

TL;DR - I missed 4 paintings in the stairway to the Daedric Hall exhibit in version 1.0 of this mod. Grab version 1.1 or the update file for version 1.0 to fix it.

There seems to be 2 painting missing. I think they are in the east exhibit halls

Works great!!  Just played around with it since the old painting mod I used was taken down...followed Talwick's guide for changing the dds images.  Simple, but very fun to be able to customize the art.

Hi, is the update file really needed? I looked through the contents and it appears that all files are there. My confusion stems from the fact that both have the same number version but the update file has earlier upload date than the main file.

EDIT: nvm, the answer is literally at the top of the page. Heh, talk about being blind.

You tempted me with using my own screenshots, but yours have an interesting composition!
You have a good eye, I'm thankful using yours ;)

One of the coolest things ever in SSE and all its mods is to put your own screenshots in the LOTD paintings. LOTD is the gift that keeps on giving.

FYI these still work for LOTD v5 for anyone wondering -- the texture paths did not change.

Hello, i was wanting to make my own mod using this mods structure but with my own screenshots and my friends screenshots and I am trying to get permissions from all the armor, quest, etc mods that I use including this one. I would have course credit you, and I wouldn't be using any of your screenshots, just the folders names. Thanks in advance for your help. Best regards, Shadow.

Edit: since the folders are technically lotd's they said it's alright, so mines up as well. (:

Good job Shadow! And yeah - you don't need my permission but consider it yours anyway :)

Greetings, I was wanting to replace some pic with my own and when I go into the room with the new pic I get a CTD! Not sure why? Has it to do with file size? I've tried different compressions. but always the same result.

Are you using GIMP? and are you saving it in a dds format when you export it? I think you also have to match the aspect ratio to the pic you are replacing. Like you can't use a square pic in a rectangle file. GIMP is a good program but it is a little technical, unnecessarily imho. I would just open one of the pics in her data file with GIMP, then click file.new and it would have the same ratio as the original. then I open my pic in paint. Cropped it copied the cropped part and then went back to gimp and used edit from the right-click dropdown menu and paste in place. Then used the move tool, looks like 4 arrows pointing 4 directions, til I had showing what I wanted. then saved then exported as the same file name as the pic i wanted to replace, overright that file and everything worked fine. My files are a lot bigger than hers so I probably need to find a way to trim that down before I replace a bunch of them. Hope that helps some.

Yes I'm using GIMP, and I've saved it in the dds format. I've tried to match the aspect ration but not precisely.

Ok so got it to work. I had to open the texture I wanted to replace using GIMP. Then open and texture (pic) I wanted to use. Copy the new texture over the old one, size it to the old one. Merge the visible layer into one then save as a gimp file then export as a dds file. Went back into game and there it was hanging on the wall.

Anyone know what I can do in GIMP to reduce the file size? change the PPI maybe? not sure how to do that.
