This mod makes both the Imperial Legion & Stormcloak Rebellion quest lines feel more immersive and rewarding. Just like the Imperial Legion rewards in Morrowind – you go up in rank and get new lore-friendly gear.

Imperial Rewards

- Added Stormcloak rewards. Ulfric will now give a real Imperial Officer Sword when he says so.
- Imperial Fort Commanders now look the part and carry the proper gear.
- The final reward Tullius/Ulfric give you is now a sword with a unique model made by Ronnie Magnum.

Description:
So, you join the Imperial Legion, they outfit you with an armor of your choosing, and that's it. From that moment all other quest rewards are randomly generated crap-loot, like Daedric mega swords, which have no place or logic in the Imperial army.
This mod makes the Imperial Legion (and Stormcloak as of v1.1) quest line feel more immersive and rewarding. Just like the Imperial Legion rewards in Morrowind – you go up in rank and get new lore-friendly Imperial gear.
The mod does the following:
- General Tullius will now reward you with proper items for each mission you complete. There are 4 new Imperial swords, and one new helmet, each with better stats and new elegant textures. This also fixes a bug where Tullius says “have this blade” and he hands you a shield from a random item level list. The good General now also carries one of these new swords himself, as fitting for a general.
- Legate Rikke now carries an Imperial shield and a new officer sword instead of a steel sword and iron shield (wtf Bethesda, she’s a Legate of the Imperial Legion!).
- All other Legates in the game now carry Imperial officer swords, save for the ones who use two-handed weapons.
- Beirand, Solitude’s Imperial blacksmith, will now sell Imperial bows and vanilla Imperial swords. Once you get outfitted with Imperial armor, you can now easily complete the look and be real Legionnaire.
- The Penitus Oculatus officers now also have proper swords.
- In case you already finished the Civil War questline, I added all the new items to the Imperial Armory (Solitude -> Castle Dour -> first right turn, down the stairs). They’re behind a locked master gate, so you can break in and steal them.
I worked tirelessly on this mod, and tested the hell out of it. I actually started a new game and re-did the entire civil war questline to make sure everything is working flawlessly. The edits are minimal and very clean. The textures are high quality, and the new weapon stats are logical and lore-friendly. I hope you’ll like it.
Installation:
Put the .esp and both .bsa files in data folder. Run with Nexus Mod Manager. This is for Skyrim SE only.
