__________Description__________

You ever sittin there, playin skyrim... and then you craft some fancy gloves for your light armor build, thieves guild gloves(the gray kind).

And you put em on, and they look weird in first person, like really weird. compare it third person, its almost like its glowing or something. Then you brush it off thinking it might just be the lighting outside.

Then you get to a place that has NO lighting, like inside a dungeon. and its literally GLOWING.

Went looking for a solution, found nothing, so im uploading the fix incase someone else has the same issue and needs this. so i went and fixed it, and i have an esp inlcuded. its marked as an ESL but i dont think youll need it. more of a just in case thing, it edits the single record. the mesh overwrite should work fine on its own without the esp.

__________Installation__________

Manual:
1. Download Zip

2. Extract to the \steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data Folder

Mod Manager(preferred):
[use MO2 if you love yourself]

1. Download with the 'Mod Manager' button,
or install to the mod manager manually with a 'Install Mod(from disk)' button.

2. If you are using Vortex It may ask to overwrite, say yes.
2.2. If you are using MO2 like you should be, then place it below any mod that will replace the same mesh(it will overwrite), you should see the green lightning bolt.

unless of course those mods models work, then in that case, why are you here?

3. Optional: Enable the .esp, if the fix doesnt work for you with overwriting, enabling it might help. place it lower in load order than other mods that may change the same thing.

If you dont need to enable the .esp, you can safely hide it or delete it.

  __________Conclusion_________
pretty simple fix, just went into the nif and changed a property. turns out that this is a base game issue, maybe circumstantial, i am playing a beast character, could be that. not sure. but when i checked in xEdit, the record was not changed, and then i went into the Skryim - Meshes0.bsa and lo and behold, there it is, the wrong emission color for the BSshader property.

Bethesda and their infinite wisdom at it again.

If it exists already, bully for those who find it. if you wanna do it yourself, go for it.

use NifSkope, browse the archive Skryim - Meshes0.bsa, go down to /armor/thievesguild/m
(or f if the issue is showing on a female character, i only found this issue specifically on the male 1stperson model)

and edit the 1personbracersvariant_0.nif and 1personbracersvariant_1.nif. inspect the node block list, go to 41 and 47 BSTriShape, and make sure that emission  color is #000000. if  its anything else, it wont look right. save to the right place and bam youre good.

Happy Modding and Happy First Person-ing! :3
