This is a port of the fantastic Hit Stop mod by Sugar_Streak from Oldrim, now in SE.

VERSION 1.1: removed the loose "SSHS_MCMConfigMenuScript.pex" from the file. Dont worry, it wasnt loaded in your game. If you dont want to re-download you can manually delete it in data\scripts.


SS's Hit Stop is, as the title suggest, a hit stop mod. If you've played DMC or Dragon's Dogma you know what I'm talking about.
Every time you hit an enemy a very small delay occurs that gives a certain "oohmp!" to the hit, it adds weight to the combat and lessens the feeling of paper sword fight that Skyrim has.
SugarSteak dropped the mod a long time ago because of a bug he couldn't fix, but along came zlakob and voila, fixed it. Now it works just fine.
SugarSteak gave public permission for anyone to work on his mod (check the comments in the original's page) and I asked zlakob for permission to use his modified script, which was given.
The dependency on SSKE has been removed, it was only needed for the MCM menu. Let me repeat that: you DON'T NEED SKSE FOR THIS.


WARNING READ THIS: you NEED Attack Speed Fix for this to work. Load it after SS's Hitstop.
Apparently other combat mods include their own version of the Attack Speed Fix (list is from the ASF's page):
-Skyrim Redone
-Perkus Maximus
-Requiem
-SPERG (fixes Player only)
-Disparity
-Better Vampires (only if vampire)
-ACE - Combat Skills: if using the ACE Melee module, run "set WeaponSpeedBaseFix to 0" in the console
-TheThirdRace Skill Overhaul (TTRSO): see this thread if you use the One-Handed, Illusion, Light Armor or Speech modules.

I've no idea if these will work with this port, test it yourself if you feel like it.

This is a hit-stop mod like TK_HitStop , but a little different . Maybe the visual effect is alike ,but the principle is different .

It use "stop weapon" ,rather than "stop time" .

When someone be hit , the attacker's weapon will be slow in a short time , just like the weapon inserted enemy's body . 
Then you can feel you hit something , but not the air ."
