Does this need to be updated, since Dragon Wars was?

I just took a look at the changelog. I don't think so. When I have time, I will double-check in xEdit, but usually, it should work as before.

I'd like to.humbly request a version that affects named dragons as well.... I'm lvl 35 and just got BODIED by the 2 Dawnguard Revered dragons in the Forgotten Vale. Like there is 0% chance I can kill them. It's ruining my playthrough lol.  OR is there an easy way to do this in xEdit? I've been messing around with it more lately.

It is pretty easy to do in xEdit.

      • Open DragonWar.esp in xEdit
      • Look for Non-Player Character (Actor)
      • Look for the dragon you want to modify
      • Under "ACBS - Configuration" look for "Health Offset"

Theoretically, you can change it directly in the mod. In this case, make a backup of the esp, though. Or you make your own patch by right-clicking on the entry, and choose "copy as overwrite into...". Then choose: <new file>.esp  ... there are various. You can choose the one with ESL there. You can name it whatever you want. Once created, you can modify the Health Offset there without touching the original mod.

I might create another patch, but atm I am a bit short on time, so, hopefully this helps!

Is it safe to add mid-playthrough?

Thank you. I don't have many issues with Dragon War but man it is rough to fight without a group and especially as a melee character so making the game slightly easier but threatening does a lot.

Nice, I might tweak them to make them a bit closer to DW's values but I'm with you, I've always found them spongey. I love DW's added diversity to strenghts and weaknesses but I'm not looking for a hardcore encounter experience ^^

Glad you can find use for it. ^^ And yes, I agree! I was using Deadly Dragons before (also, not bad at all), but the fights with DW feel much fresher. Yet, I would sometimes like to do other stuff ingame besides fighting dragons. :')
