If anyone has problems with an annoying sparkling/glittering texture on this mod it is because it does not ship with any mip maps. Even if you do not know what a mip map is, this is an easy fix especially since this mod consists of a single texture. Download a free program called Paint.net and simply open the dds file inside this mod in Paint.net and hit save. Ensure that "Generate Mip Maps" is checked and hit save. Done! Now the shimmering/sparkle will be completely gone!
oh yeah, i was looking for this, the vanilla textures for this made my eyes hurt everytime, i doubt these were changed since the game came for the xbox 360 lmao.
The only one of its kind AFAIK. Thank you very much for this. It was bothering me so much how plastic they look in vanilla, especially next to all of the other retexture mods I have installed.
Thank you Haladoon! I love your mods, especially Frozen in Time, Wood Axe Firewood and Woodblock Retexture, and your Dogs mod.. This Ruins Puzzle Pillar Retexture mod is excellent thanks! Would you ever consider retexturing the Puzzle-Claw doors? That's something as well that everyone has to look at up close multiple times usually.

I've pretty much done the 4k version. I'll be working on the rest this weekend. I noticed part of the door needs the Ruins puzzle texture too for some of the animal symbols. I'm going to be releasing it this weekend because of work irl.
