Skyrim dungeons, forts and caves have lots of interactive furniture. Benches and chairs of all sorts, crafting tables for alchemy and enchanting, smithing equipment, all sorts.
I've often found myself accidentally activating these items and getting stuck in the sloooow entry/exit animations. Meanwhile, enemy NPCs come rushing in to attack and bring you down!
Using the power of BTPS, this mod adds a filter to prevent you from activating any furniture in dangerous locations . This includes:
Chairs and benches
Beds and sleeping furs
Cooking pots
Arcane enchanters
Alchemy tables
any other crafting tables
If you DO want to use some furniture, just press the Left Shift button, and the Activate prompt will appear as usual. For gamepad controllers, use the Left Shoulder button.
Setup
After installing this mod, you will need to activate it in the MCM for "Better Third Person Selection". In the "Filters" tab, check the box for "No Dungeon Furniture". See the mod images for reference.
