Up next in the Stupidly High Poly Series is Mara
Mara is the Mother-Goddess of Love, Fertility, and Marriage. Her power is so powerful that both men and women will want to marry you just for wearing her amulet as long as you give them a tusk or some other nonsense.
Update 2.0: Now about 410k polys. Bumpier beads and cross thingy. Bumpier cloak round spots. Modelled the tears (Thanks for the idea commenter
person). Just generally better than before. New Reasonable Version as well, but it doesn't have enough polys to show the 3D tears.
Here she is in all her glory with 350k polys looking basically just like the vanilla version. She is smoother now, and has more slender fingers, a more supple face, and the bumps on her clothing and her rosery are modelled. I also threw in that holy water basin smoothed, and with the engravings all modelled at 150k for a grand total of about 500 polys. That is as much as Mehrunes Dagon, and she is not the size of a mountain.
This was one of the best vanilla statues, and like Malacath, was difficult to so any real improvement. I don't care. Make Riften great for a change, get your Mara statue today!
As always you can also just get the Reasonable Version and it looks plenty fine at 1/10th the polys.
