FuzzBeed's Dragon Lairs
For the focal point of game, dragons have very lackluster locations in Skyrim. Usually occupying a small Nordic ruin or mountain peak, with a lone word wall, these lairs don't capture the grandeur that a ferocious dragon encounter should instill. This series hopes to rectify this issue by giving each of dragon lairs its own sense of identity and scale.
Dangerous Dragontooth Crater
Dragontooth Crater is visually distinct in vanilla. A semi-circle of mountains hiding a desecrated Nordic barrow. Regardless whether Forsworn or Dragons rule over this area, the location has always stuck with my for its natural beauty. In my mod, the evidence of Ancient Nordic Fortifications are expanded, but kept to the ruined style of the vanilla placemen. A crumbled tower now rests on the peak of the mountain showing the decay of the once mighty Dragon Cult.
