Seasons of Skyrim - Riften Snowy Land
This is my first attempt at fixing Riften land meshes for Seasons of Skyrim in the winter. See the after and before in images for a preview. I still haven't figured out how to get the leafy path blending just right, so if you have any suggestions, please let me know!
Load Order Shouldn't matter, they are just 3 new statics in an ESL-flagged ESP.
Technical These meshes are a bit tricky because they use alpha nodes to show the dirt paths and cobblestones. I replaced the fallforestgrass texture with snow01 which should blend reasonably well, though I'm still tweaking the final look at time of writing (9/9/2024) so it will hopefully improve over time!
I also applied a directional material snow shader from Skyrim.esm to each mesh. It should work with BDS, SoS, etc, as far as I'm aware. I couldn't figure out why the alpha stuff worked fine with the cobblestones but not the leafy paths.
Hopefully someone with more experience can toss in their insight and we can make Riften properly snowy together ~u~
