About this mod
Adds a lot of previously unobtainable clothing items from the game's files to Radiant Raiment's stock, giving you more options for an unarmored character.
- Permissions and credits
These are the clothing items I added to the shop:
- Hooded Red Robes - A red and white robe with a hood.
- Hooded Green Robes - It looks like the robes children can gift to you, but it has a hood.
- Hooded Grey Robes - A grey robe with a hood.
- Brown Robes - A deeper brown robe with a decorative trim. Basically a fancier variant of the monk robes.
- Hooded Brown Robes - The same as the brown robes but with a hood.
- Mantled College Robes (3 variants) - They look like the college student robes, but they have no enchantments on them.
- College Robes (2 variants) - They look like the Expert Mage Robes, but they have no enchantments on them.
- Refined Tunic - An fancy orange-yellow garment worn by Jarl Siddgeir.
- **Noble Clothes** - a fancy garment, similar to the Refined Tunic but in blue.
- **Fur-Trimmed Cloak** - A fancy garment with a fur cloak. Worn by various Jarls and by Thane Bryling.
- Fine Raiment - A pink and gold dress (on women) or shirt and pants (on men) that's highly decorated. Worn by Jarl Elisif the Fair.
You can get even more cool outfits via my other mod, Quest Outfit Replacers. This makes two more unobtainable items, the Embellished Robes (green variant of the Noble Clothes) and the Embroidered Garments (purple variant of the Fine Raiment), replace the Party Clothes and the Radiant Raiment fine clothes respectively. I made this mod with my other mod in mind, which is why I didn't include those two outfits in this mod.
**Items marked with this are not technically unobtainable, and they are omitted from the "purist" file, but I included them in the main file for the reasons below:
- Noble Clothes: you can only get this item by stealing it from the East Empire Company Warehouse. I imagined people would rather be able to purchase it honestly.
- Fur-Trimmed Cloak: This can technically be obtained by killing Thane Bryling, however she is never the target of any quest, so I imagine most people would not kill her. Also, she is essential until you complete the wedding assassination quest in the Dark Brotherhood questline, so most people will not be able to kill her anyway. Asking someone to get through the DB questline and then kill some random NPC who isn't even involved in that quest requires a lot of meta knowledge (to know she's now no longer invincible) and is very silly since this is not a unique outfit but one worn by many Jarls, so I included it.
- Also worth noting: Fine Raiment (Elisif's clothes) can actually be looted from Potema, but this requires an exploit, so I still consider it unobtainable.
Compatibility:
Automatically compatible with any mods that retexture the outfits and any bodyslide or body replacer mods. These are all vanilla outfits.
It will only conflict with mods that alter the Radiant Raiment vendor chest. These will 99% of the time be mods that add new clothes to purchase from Radiant Raiment. It's very easy to patch this in SSEEdit, though. Just combine the vendor chest's contents from my mod and the conflicting mod into a new esp patch and it should be good.
