About this mod
This is a reshade preset intended to give Skyrim a darker yet beautiful cinematic atmosphere focusing on light rays, better global illumination, motion blur and a touch of blue artistic color grading.
- Requirements
- Permissions and credits
I'd like to always start with a reminder, this is a Personal Reshade, this is how i like to play my game
and i find the athmosphere suits better for my tastes, that doesn't mean that mine is better, just an
alternative way to play Skyrim with a different tone/mood.
What Exactly this preset do?
It will give your game colder and darker tinted shadows,
some new volumetric light rays, motion blur, depth of field,
chromatic aberration, letterbox and other post fx.
LIGHT - This is a lighter and free version, you don't need to have
Pascal Gilcher's RTGI shader, instead i went as close as possible with
the free built in shaders from Reshade.
RTGI - This is pretty much the same, it just uses RTGI shader instead,
so if you have it, you should definitelly use this one.
Considerations
Some interiors might look a bit darker than usual and you might not feel comfortable
with the motion blur, chromatic aberration and other post fx shader like the
artificial Tracking Rays, but feel free to uncheck the boxes of those you don't like.
