IMO while some of the features overlap, a lot of the effects that you disable in splashes of storms and soaking wet are pretty subtle in wetness effects, so I like having all of the features on. The raindrop effect from wetness effects mostly consists of darkening spots on the ground, so the actual physical splash effect from splashes of storm still looks pretty good and arguably doesn't even fully overlap with how wetness effects handles it. And YMMV on this, but the character wetness effect from wetness effects is really, really hard to notice sometimes. I think how soaking wet handles it is better and I haven't noticed any jarring conflicts between enabling soaking wet in the rain and wetness effects.
I updated the description, I hope it is clearer now what this mod does: Configuring wetness mods to be visually compatible with wetness effects from community shaders.
I am not sure why Community Shaders is even talked about as these config files have nothing to do with CS (or ENB for that matter). Also Wetness Effect isn't even needed for this as there is no config file that mod uses here. Sebastian, what the hell are we doing man.

From the top of the main page: "Based on community shaders"
What I'm deducing is that the settings he's basing those two config files off of are meant to unify the appearance of the effects between all three mods using one as a base, and that base mod is the Community Shaders-reliant Wetness Effects. Since the other two files center around Wetness Effects settings, you wouldn't need a config file for that.
Exactly. Without wetness effect the config files are useless since it disables the corresponding effects in the other mods. So it is a hard requirement.

Any chance there might be a setting to fade out the wet ground in x amount of seconds after the rain stops?
Does this Mod replace CS wetness Effect or does it simply improve upon it? Does it need to be lower in load order than CS wetness effect?
But I am curioius myself, so I will investigate the features of ENB
This is a collection of two settings files SoakingWet.ini & po3_SplashesOfStorms.toml for, as the name suggest, the respective mods "Soaking Wet - Character Wetness Effect" and "Splashes of Storms".
