I bought a Noble Bed for use in Breezehome. The Breezehome mod I am using leaves the original commoner bed and adds pillow and a cap floating in midair where the noble Bed should be. The author either can't or won't fix the problem so I thought, "hey, I can buy a bed and put it in the place of the missing bed." So I did. My PC will use the bed but her spouse won't sleep on the new bed.
There is a spell, Lover's Sanctuary - part of the mod, Spouses Enhanced, which is supposed to make a custom bed visible to an NPC so he or she will sleep in it. When I try to use the spell, I get a message telling me that there is no bed where I am pointing my cursor, even though the bed is under the cursor. Normally, if you put your cursor on a bed, the text is Sleep Bed where Bed is below Sleep. When I put my cursor on your bed, it reads Sleep Bed - Noble 01. I'm wondering if the extra verbiage is messing up the spell. Any help would be appreciated. I hate that my (PC's) wife can't sleep in the same bed with her. BTW, the problem did not exist when it was just the original bed. They both slept in it, no problems.
I seem to recall using something like this in Oblivion. The castle hallways and dungeons were so dark I purchased placeable lights. It was a great mod addition back then and in Skyrim LE too. But I also remember finding things on the floor when I got home like the reports here. Pity, this still seems a persistent bug but perhaps Jaxon's Positioner will fix that. I will test it out in Whiterun Home 4.5 as that mod doesn't have any cupboards where I need them and I have 4 followers living there with no place to put their armours when relaxing in other wear. A few chests stacked on top of each other would do the job (like in Haven Bag), with 1 cupboard for my stuff would be perfect. Pity I have to start a new game and run all the way there to test this all out. Maybe someone could make a delivery mod that PC could order stuff from Belethor? Now that sounds like a good solution for bugs here... don't have to rely on a building then, lol! Or just buy them from Belethor?
I bought some furniture for my Lakeview cellar. Problem is getting the darn stuff to set where I want it. I drop it and then fight with it to try and set where I want it. stuff falls off walls and I end up with crap all over my floor. what am I missing?
Where the heck is the store? i have been all over Solitude and cannot find it. I have searched Solitude, the docks, the farm, etc. and cannot find it anywhere,. I want to add funiture to my Lakeview house. I need lots of book cases, and my cellar has a large empty area. The stupid builder won't let me add anything else.
OK Thanks I was looking in the city and the Docks but didn;t go far enough. I did find the Escape door near there though. Umm did I read that there are no bookcases? I seriously need book cases since I collect any and every book I come across.
Love this; been using it since Legendary Edition. Thank you for the SE port.

I like the atmosphere in your store. I put a lot of chairs in the house, but my followers just stood there. To allow them to use furniture, player need to Console sets ownership of the targeted item. For example enter "setownership 5C84E". ps: 5C84E=Current Follower Faction
I was looking for a mod like this to edit a bandit house and make it my own in an immersive way. I've done some quick tests and everything seems to work perfectly. I don't understand some complaints I've read, it looks like a great mod, with some pretty complex mechanics. Sure there will be a problem, because even the best mods have them. But from what I'm seeing it looks like an underrated mod to me. Let's see, don't edit a whole house with it, it's not a creation kit. What did you expect? And I don't understand the problem with the location, I have hundreds of mods and I have no problem with it. It is not in the center of Solitude, where did you want him to put it? I would like to tell the author that thanks for his work, he has helped me a lot in the immersion of my new game.
