Vanilla carrot mesh and texture is now overwritten for consistency with Hornclonic's mesh updates.
1.02 - Fixed normal map path in meshes. Harmonized version to Hornclonic's
0.9 - Reuploaded Carrots Remade BOS - Leveled List Version 0.9 due to inadvertently including a USSEP LList that resulted in "vanilla" carrots being harvested as a varieties of Carrots Remade. Nexus said 0 DLs, so I didn't update the version number. If Nexus didn't update the DLs and you already downloaded, please redownload.
Your meshes are pointing at a misspelling of the normal file, so they're not getting the normal maps. Should be carrot not carrots. Also instead of figuring out why the orange planter carrots mesh didn't get the normal texture even with the right spelling, I just copied the black one and changed the name and paths. Maybe something wrong with that mesh, idk.
Thanks so much for catching that. My eyes didn't notice the normal maps weren't being applied. Corrections made. Let me know if there are still issues!
question: do I need all 4 texture files from the og mod or just one? and what does it mean "leveled lists". sorry if these are dumb questions and thank you.
No worries. Now that Hornclonic has provided an updated Main File for use with this BOS version, just grab that one main file. (Previously, you would have needed to download all four textures and rename them.)
Leveled Lists do different things in Skyrim. In this case, they make sure that vendors or containers show different items when you visit them at different times. If you want different inns or shops to sell you the new kinds of carrots, you need the leveled list version of the mod. But if you have other mods that change the same lists, you’ll only see the items from the mod with the highest priority (the mod loaded last) unless you merge the changes with a patch in xEdit. That’s why someone suggested using SkyPatcher. SkyPatcher changes the leveled lists for you when you run the game using instructions provided by the mod author, so you don’t have to make a patch yourself.
Tracked for now. Love the idea but unsure of best actual implementation. Also think 4 carrots is a bit much... load order already so bloated and 4 new formIDs just for carrots feel weird. I may look into reducing to just orange and purple carrots but also expanding to include things like heirloom tomatoes and red potatoes. I'll check back later for sure and see where this goes, nice job
SkyPatcher looks promising. It seems like Zzyxzz states that adding LLists to a Container is currently experiencing problems there, but that adding a LList to a LList is working. This LList into LList functionality I would need, in addition to being able to remove an item from a LList, which is listed as a feature. I'll take a look when I have a chance to see if I can get it working without a CTD.

Thanks for making this!
