better method would have been to clone the worn armor. the issue with putting it on outfit is that any mod touching outfits will be incomp including spid mods and anything that makes them nude will strip it also.
its the same process you did with the armor but instead its the worn armor. best to see a example which is this mod . the hardest part is making the hair color since it wotn be a wig anymore it has to have a set hair color.
