Might this cause my game to lag pretty badly when I encounter wolves? It's just a few seconds when combat starts, but it mostly only seems to be with wolves, and only at the start of combat.
Would love one for bears or sabre cats. If I had to choose only one: bears. I swear, after playing this game for so long, I get why Temba Wide-Arm hates them so much.

@krembrule Noice, now Distar is temporarily leaving Skyrim modding so you and @stuxjr are our only hope for making creature's animation. Plz keep up the god work !!!
BROTHER this is a phenomenally well made mod wtf, it literally makes the wolves actually interesting to fight like Jesus, please do more of these kinds of mods with other creatures man they're all so boring with vanilla behaviour
I'm not trying to criticize, but these animations are very bad, I'm talking about animations that use scar and mco, like this one and the ones from distar
there not THAT BAD but if im being honest with creature animations on skyrim you can't be picky there is no mco or scar animations for giants and most creatures. still have to wait for those
This means that you downloaded the fast file, that action is really ugly, you should download the second file, that file's giant action is more normal.
I too hope for some new creature combat animations that make use of SCAR. With Distar leaving the skyrim modding scene, I worry we'll never get a comprehensive creature animation suite. I mean, I'm not even fond of everything distar has made. I only like his bear and troll animations. I find the wolves and sabrecat way too slow and predictable, while the dragon animations can be very janky at times. DNFA wolves combat is great. Hope for more from this author, and hope other animators rise up to do SCAR creature anims
i replaced distar dragon anims with the mod Dragon combat animation overhaul. but your right. one of the most looked over thing in the modding community are creature animations really wish we got some more of them like other animations. The new creature animation mods are what im using apart for the werewolf those help a little in diversifying animation paterns
