Beta version 2 is now out and should fix all issues with the Active Effects (and other widgets if linked). Right now I feel this version is more of a release candidate for version 1.

EDIT: I have decided this version will be changed to v1.0 once SKSE64 is out of Alpha.

Is this mod even being updated or monitored any longer by Gopher?

Why would it need an update? It works perfect.

(Mods in need of frequent updates are often badly done from the beginning.)

Vanishing Dialog. Works very well and is a simple .dll file.
I always put the name because I find broken old links to great stuff we can still use.

I use Less Intrusive HUD to remove most of the HUD. This mod was the key for me to play without names and prompts. And mostly, not have that @#!$! cursor in my face ALL THE TIME. The names kill immersion. I know a forge when I see it and I should not know who owns a house because I looked at a doorknob. Before I either was always looking at a cursor, or always seeing [E]Harvest Mountain Flower, or stealing forks when trying to order some mead. I was using 3 script mods to fix names and prompts and now I only use Real Names and only see name when in dialog. Any chance to get a Cursor only version?

    [ESLite-C]

I have used SSE Edit 4+ to Compact FormIDs for ESL and then flagged as ESL allowing it to use without adding to count. I have play tested this compact mod fairly lightly without issue and it is noted in YASHED/NORDIC SKYRIM LISTS.

WARNING: You must compact the mod using SSE Edit 4+ prior to flagging for ESL or it will not work. REALLY IMPORTANT: If you are in the middle of the play through DO NOT COMPACT as it will wreck your save... only do so prior to starting a new save game. If you do not know what you are doing, I do not recommend Compacting Mods and do not whilly-nilly flag mods for ESLs.

As a quick note, there is POTENTIAL for a little bit of trouble with iHUD and ESL. Per the guide here:

      https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21618

      > Scripts that use GetFormFromFile with a formID that was changed will have to be updated with the new formID and recompiled, otherwise they will break.

I'm being anal and actually checking any of the ones which I want to compress that have scirpts, and ihudwidgetscript has four calls of GetFormFromFile. I'm not super familiar with papyrus, but it looks like it's relying upon the formid from SkyUI directly. So if I'm following all of this correctly, I THINK that if, within an existing save, you (for example) run LOOT and SkyUI's load order changes, you might run into problems? I really should learn some papyrus to be sure about what all it's doing. Anyway, just an fyi, since I was also looking in the comments to see if anyoen else had some experience :)

The SkyUI position in load order wouldnt have any adverse effects on an ESL file, as its only the first 2 digits of the formid that denote position and are disregarded. what's important, is the rest of the formid. for example, if an ID it looks for is xx000110 or somehting liek that, and "compacting" changes it to something different, then you'd have an issue.

That said, compacting id's in this should have no bad effects, as you said it calls SkyUI id's, not its own, making its id's unimportant form the script perspective at least.

THANK YOU for porting this mod. SkyHUD gets in the way of immersive horses in a bad way. This mod plays nice.

ELSfying iHUD.esp does not seem to break the mod. Setting on and off toggle on press X and link all features work in the MCM.

Just so you know, the mod Undiscovered Means Unknown will allow you to hide the enemy compass markers as well as set up parameters for when you will discover locations. It is much more exciting to be wandering about and accidently discover a locations because your compass never told you it was there.
