I’ve tried that mod and unfortunately it’s not a fix for this case.
I agree that on paper it sounds like it should be.
There might be something about the lanterns ARMO records that cause that mod to skip over them, but that’s just a guess. I read their code on GitHub and I still think it *should* be the fix but it hasn’t worked for me past a few in game days.
Nice mod. Is it possible to change some things though? 8pm seems a little late, sometimes it gets really dark because of weather but the light stays off.

NPCS: known issues. See the mod description. It should be fine for followers, but using SPID to distribute widely likely needs updates to be viable.
If anyone knows how to fix Object Effect Enchantments that randomly stop working after ~24 hours, please let me know!
