Changelogs
This mod adds a standalone version of the Siligonder Chitin Armor to your game. This is a cuirass-only mod. No boots, helmet, gauntlets, or anything else.

Information

Siligonder Chitin Armor has the same values as in the original mod (see below), though I removed the Fortify Carry Weight enchantment. The crafting requirements are now also the same as the Chitin Light Armor Cuirass from the Dragonborn DLC.

Spoiler:
Show
Armor Type: Light
Armor Rating: 24
Weight: 15
Value: 300 gold
Crafting Requirements: 1 x Iron Ingot, 2 x Leather, 5 x Chitin Plate

If you haven't played Moonpath to Elsweyr before, you might be wondering about the armor name. Siligonder is a hostile Chaurus-like centipede, a creature added by the original mod. I kept the armor name mostly so it can be easily found here on Nexus. Simple enough to modify using xEdit if you like.

The optional SPID configuration file distributes the armor to NPCs as an outfit (this armor + Iron Boots). Currently, it distributes the outfit to Khajiit caravaneers wearing armor (Khayla, Dro'marash, Kharjo, and Razhinda). Khajiit bandits also have a 20% chance of wearing the armor. These options are fully configurable

Requirements

• None for the armor to work
Spell Perk Item Distributor (SPID) if you want to distribute the armor to NPCs

Recommendations

Moonpath to Elsweyr Retexture SE adds better armor textures. Make sure it loads after my mod.

Installation

1. Install with your mod manager of choice.
2. (Optional) Install SPID.

Acknowledgements

Many thanks to muppetpuppet for making Moonpath to Elsweyr and Illiani for Moonpath to Elsweyrs SSE. I used the Bethesda Archive Extractor to unpack the BSA from the SSE version, xEdit to create the ESP, and SPID to distribute the armor to NPCs. Images feature the following mods: Azurite Weathers II, Community Shaders, Grass FPS Booster, Inigo, and Scarves of Skyrim.
