I use two monitors. One is WQHD One is 4K I play games on only a WQHD monitor, but with this one in, it took up two monitors. Uninstalling it does not change the settings. I have a hunch it is something in the overwrite folder of MO2, but I can't figure it out! Can you please tell me how to fix it?
Open SKSE/Plugins/SSEDisplayTweaks.ini. You can easily do this in MO2 at the right panel by typing SSEDisplayTweaks.ini to the search field. In the file you will find the setting Resolution = something. Delete that line.
Hmm, should be supported. If you set the ratio in the INI to something low and see the game getting pixelated, that means it is working. Can't think of anything else to make sure it is working when using fullscreen mode.
Thanks for your answer. What happens here: If I change the ration I will either get black bars or I will be missing parts of the screen. I'll play around little bit to see whether I will find anything.
is it possible to make it also work with SSEDisplayTweaks_custom.ini ? It's a file display tweaks also reads and it takes priority over regular ini.
so if _custom file contains this
[Render] Resolution=1920x1080
It will override/append to whatever is set in SSEDisplayTweaks.ini
So I guess correct behavior will be to look up custom file first and if it exists then modify it instead of main file. one caveat is that _custom file can be not a complete file, but just contain couple of sections. Like if it does not contain [Render] section it should be created and resolution added.
This is absolutely amazing for Wabbajack authors. I have a regular and Widescreen profile cause of all the other stuff required but now I don't need to tell people to fix 1080 vs 1440 vs 4K vs 21:9 etc. :yus:
For some reason, this causes stuttering when used together with DPI Scaling Fix and SSE Display Tweaks. Any idea? Maybe it's incompatible with DPI Scaling Fix after all?
This mod simply changes an INI setting of SSE Display Tweaks, which is the resolution. Maybe DPI Scaling Fix and SSE Display Tweaks have an incompatibility, but I doubt it is this mod causing the issue.
Because it is just an INI setting if you load up the game with all three mods once, then disable my mod, and then boot up the game again, your issue should persist. If you confirm that this is not the case, let me know.
Does this mess with PureDark's Upscaler? I know it messes with resolutions so I'm wondering if auto-setting with this to your screen's resolution would screw that up.
No f*#@ing way dude, this is a S tier addition for people like me who alternate between playing on my monitor and my tv, depending on how lazy I am xD I've always just had two different ini files ready, one named pc one named tv and just copied and renamed them when switching. This just made my life that much better! thanks a lot!

I am playing in fullscreen (not windowed) mode. Is this supported?
Do I need to configure anything special in SSEDisplayTeaks.ini?

Question: What should I modify the Ratio to in the Ini file?
My display is 4k: 3840x2160
I'd like to game at 2k: 2560x1440
Would it be
0.5 because 2k is 50% of 4k
.66 because 1440 is 2/3 of 1440
Also, is there a way to use this and still fill the screen?
To fill the screen I think you'd need to set bFullscreen=1 in SSEDisplay tweaks' INI or Skyrim's.

dlssg-to-fsr3 (Replace Nvidia DLSS-G Frame Gen with AMD FSR 3 Frame Gen) at Modding Tools - Nexus Mods
EDIT: I cannot do it. Probably PureDark has what you want. Or if you already have DLSS frame gen, you could use the one above.
